Hal Zina Bennett

He is a contributing editor to Shaman's Drum magazine.  He has written books on Zuni fetishes and other Indian stuff.  He himself is not Indian  Who is he?  How accurate are his writings?  Should I think of his stuff as his personal ideas on things?

Shamans Drum overall is pretty terrible. I wouldn't trust any writer of theirs, much less their editors.
