Angela Prider is a nuage / pretendian / celtique shameon. http://www.westcoastshamanic.com/

She sounds Australian in the attached video. She is an appropriator of both Native American and Irish ways, currently selling offensive ceremonies in Vancouver, Canada. She is misrepresenting both cultures in a really awful, pay to pray, disgustingly nuage way.

In this video we have a stereotypical attempt at Native drumming, along with smudging with abalone shell and feathers. And at the end of her appropriation video, she tacks some Irish music on (!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2diTuoG_nrw

None of what she's doing here is even remotely Irish. It's all stolen from NDNs. But she will sell you expensive spiritual tourism to Ireland, where you can go with her and offend the local spirits with her ignorance. This is dangerous, fraudulent stuff.

She also has a variety of pages on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/WESTCOAST-SHAMANIC-VANCOUVER/20444789588?ref=br_rs

and https://www.facebook.com/shamanism.vancouver/about

Wow. That's some messed-up stuff.

She clearly does not know the Irish language or culture. She makes some ridiculous mistakes on her page. She's clearly just another nuage pretendian, who knows about as much about the culture as you can learn in a cursory Google search. Total fraud.

These "Celtic Shamanism" frauds really seem to think that no one will notice if, after doing all this pretendian crap, they tack some wheedly-whee music on the end and say the word, "Irish Ancestors." Unbelievable. It insults all of our ancestors, as well as our intelligence. This kind of entitled, blatant misappropriation and misrepresentation harms all the cultural preservation efforts of traditional people on Turtle Island as well as in the Six Celtic Nations and the diaspora.
