how can a native in his own reservation, hold fake ass ceremonies and charge money for them and get away with it?

don't they get called out by their family?

doesn't the community get angry wtih them?

i get wanting power and money, but how does a native selling justify selling his own culture in the middle of his own people?

i imagine many do get called out

i also imagine many do so in semi-secrecy

nor do they really care when they get caught......some maybe desperate for money and maybe some dont care

i dont think narcissism and sociopathy was a problem or as much as a problem until the advent of substance abuse

where the "every man for himself" mindset becomes the rule rather than the exception
