Has anyone here heard of Pat McCabe Weyakpa Najin Win (Woman Stands Shining)? Do you think she is a fraud or non-fraud?

Hmmm, she grew up outside of her culture, discovered it as an adult, has a Lakota name, although she is Dineh, and promotes nnnnnuage and panIndianism..

Mostly what she teaches about is sustainability. The way she goes about it, I question if it's the best way.

Teaching ethics, culture, philosophy, etc, perfectly fine and noble. Having ceremony as part of the course...what purpose does that serve?

The name Weyakpa Najin Win sounds like it might be Lakota. Someone else would know better.
