"The initial reticence and the unusual stipulation pertaining to Rendon prompted a News-Times investigation into his background. The search turned up a Native American website that tracks fraud related to Native American spiritual beliefs and practices. The site characterized Rendon - also known as "David Medicine Eagle" - as a "con man" and "sexual predator" who falsely claims Sioux/Lakota tribal affiliation. It revealed a history of arrests and convictions in Utah and Colorado, dating back to 1990, on charges including theft, forgery, fraud, and sexual assault."

Sounds like they were talking about this site. Way to go Trish!
