Hi

I have just come across a woman claiming to be an Apache shaman, I was just wondering if the Apache actually have a history of shaman type medicine people and whether they would even use the term Shaman

I highly doubt it, most real medicine people don't claim to be anything....they are known in their own communities as effective helpers.

I dont think apaches really do advertise who there Traditional ppls are . The ones I know are very low key and are knowen by the communitys
