Hey all,
    My nicname here is Cosmic Oppossum, a name taken from the writings of Appalachian writer Sharyn McCrumb. A Cosmic Opoossum is an educated Ridge Runner, I have one foot in the hills of PA and one foot in the ivy tower of academe. I must admit the foot in the Ivy Tower is slipping a bit.
     I'm a mixed blood person, but I'm not down a pint. I've been a Native Rights Activist, mostly dealing with NAGPRA or raising money for a Native Food Pantry.
     I live in Indiana with my hubby, two dogs and two cats.
