Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be here with you all.

My name is River Runs Deep, a spirit recognition I received, at 36 years of age, from White Buffalo Calf Woman of the Cherokee People during a Rainbow Gathering I had been invited to at Victoria Island in Canada about eight years ago. There was no cost to attend, nor did I ask for any support, donation, or fees to be present. Looking back, I know that there was a mix of people there who I sensed were both unauthentic as well as authentic. River Runs Deep is a label that resonates with me to my core, as much as my birth name, Jennifer Esther Brown, given to me by my Sicilian Greek Jewish Father and Hungarian Polish Catholic Mother, married fifty years, still alive and together.

My biological son's biological father is pure Cherokee and Scottish.

I am an agnostic/atheist, but because I am particular with labels am compelled to include that outside of this labeling I am still learning, growing, and open in terms of how spirituality is defined, and what it could mean, or means, in my life, and for the others I share this life with. I have always been inclined to feel profoundly moved, inspired, and comforted when I am immersed with nature, and so it is when I am in communion with the ocean, rivers, sand, wind, rain, sky, trees, mountains, deserts, and cosmos, that I feel as close as I may come to understanding the great mysteries and energies that are waving and pulsing through everything, seen and unseen.

Although I may not understand all of the knowledge, wisdom, culture, and truth of what each individual is here to bring forth, I come in peace with the intention of offering what protection I may from the forces in this world that, in greed, ego and soullessness, survive on the weakness and suffering of others.

Additional labels that I identify with are mother, daughter, sister, friend, independent free-thinker, unmarried, unowned, artist, musician, writer, student, college graduate, life-long learner, advocate, protector, giver, muse, comic, water nymph, tree, roots, rock, stardust, spiral, serpent, jaguar, tiger, wolf, spider, dreamer, astral traveler, shape shifter and all with one hand in the light and one in the dark.

I have adopted several mottoes for my life some of which serve me well, while others may leave room for... change.

Fight for liberty!... ... ... ... it is written: "the Kingdom of ... ... ...is within man" - not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you! You, the people have the power - the power to create machines. The power to create happiness! You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure... ... ... ...in the name of democracy - let us use that power - let us all unite. Let us... ... for a new world - a decent world that will give men a chance to work - that will give youth a future and old age a security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power. But they lie! They do not fulfill that promise. They never will!... ...Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people! Now let us... ... fulfill that promise! Let us ... ... free the world... ...do away with national barriers... ...do away with greed, with hate and intolerance. Let us... ...for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all men's happiness... ...in the name of democracy, let us all unite!"

Thank you for this plethora of information. Precisely WHY I requested access to this site (sorry don't mean to yell, but I DO feel strongly about this). There have been so many experience in the past ten + years that have me questioning so much. It's why I finally started researching what people CAN do about false prophets and plastic shamans. My dreams were especially the catalyst for my looking for answers and truth.

I know we are not to write messages here that aren't detailed because of the transfer of database to new servers from time to time when amassing messages clogs the site from useless messages sent, but please know that my response to your posts about Rainbow Gathering is quite the contrary of useless. Like I said in introduction, I KNEW that at that gathering I sensed something, some people, were NOT what they claimed to be. I went there claiming and asking for nothing, and you all will see, I don't claim to be anything I am not for the gain from others losses or suffering. In time I will share my stories and the truth will be revealed. I can see that I am in the right place and deeply grateful that I happened upon NAFPS in looking for the TRUTH and others who spoke and know the TRUTH. I did feel compelled to respond to let you know immediately how grateful I am that there is a site like this to educate people about the extensive abuse and misuse of power found everywhere.

I have to say that I probably ought to start a topic, or look for one, ON the Rainbow Gathering, but as you mentioned, those here already know. I DO have things to share about what happened there, and many other places I went to seek... help. I will meditate on how to tactfully share my experience after carefully reading ALL of the information you have provided.

Again, I don't believe everything I read, and hear, especially these days, and so it goes that being here at NAFPS I have lots of research and reading to do.

Let me take some time to read. You may all not hear from me for a while, but I want to be informed before I open up my mouth again and let my fingers talk for me. I have two ears, and two eyes, and one mouth, and one mind for a reason. For me, the time for listening is now.

The White Buffalo calf women is only in the Lakota culture not cherokees
they don't have a story like that,
we don't have any relationship to the Cherokee culture.
so right off the bat you came off as a little deep.

Cherokee have nothing to do with my culture and that is so wrong in so many ways.

Jennifer has written me privately, asking for these posts to be removed, wanting to "dialogue" and talk on the phone. I'm not sure why she singled me out.

Jennifer, you chose to do this public, offensive display, so I'm responding here, where it happened. I'm glad that you now realize that this stuff is offensive and embarrassing, and a liability to you. But you owe an apology and amends to everyone you said this to, not just to me privately. You're not blocked, so I suggest you say what you have to say to everyone, right here where you started it.
