I'm surprised we don't have a thread on her. She's been around for decades and is on virtually every one of the old fraud lists. But it seems she's also hidden her tracks pretty well, written some twink books and then avoids publishing any notice of her ceremony selling.
Uses youtube quite a bit along with "Master Prophet Noel."

I would like to give a word of caution about the information you are imparting in regards to "Wolf Moondance". I have personally met this woman, and she is not a Indian, nor a spiritual guide, and is not respected nor endorsed by Native Americans. Please do a Google search of her under "Wolf Moondance, fraud" and see what comes up. Her real name is Charlene Vernard, and she is writing these books to make herself money. What you are reading is really offensive to Natives, and is not the truth. Please do not follow this advice. This woman moves her operation around the country every few years, as those in the area's she operates in become wise to her lies. There are much better ways to learn about Native American spirituality, but buying books and throwing money at it are not the right way. I suggest getting out and meeting REAL Indians, and go about learning from them in the correct, respectful and traditional manner. And, this "Rainbow Medicine" story that Wolf Moondance sells is all made up by her. I know this, because she told me. She wanted me to be a part of her gig, as she was trying to legitimize her lodge by getting as many Indians as she could to make it look good. I soon found out what she was about, and ran the other way as fast as I could.

I don't know if she is still in business. I've not yet verified if her real name is Charlene Vernard.

Please avoid this book and spread the word. The author who wrote this book and several others is *NOT* or NO WAY RELATED to any Indigenous or First Nation peoples. She embarked on a fraudulent scheme many years ago to create "spiritual enlightenment" books/guides under the pen name "Wolf Moondance". She has committed numerous crimes by labelling herself and selling to the general public as "authentic teachings" of an American Indian, which is a federal crime.
Her legal name is: Charlene Vernard
I caution anyone to accept her work as truth, furthermore her name alone evokes great sorrow, pain, and anger, as well as blatant disrespect in the shrinking world of the Indigenous Americans.
There are many sites that warn of her work , and she apparently moves around the country every couple of years to avoid discovery.
Word to the wise, although there are a few legitimate guides to understanding the beliefs of First Nation's, these are often vague mostly due to the very different practices and beliefs of each tribe. Ask any tribal elder and he/she will tell you the only real way to learn, is to find an elder and respectfully ask to be taught the knowledge handed down for generations.
You can read if you like, but understand its about as fictional as you can get.
I'm not trying to slander this individual, but rather inform you of these unfortunate fictional "guides"....I myself have Native American ancestry within my entire family, but I do not align myself with a federally recognized tribe because I do not have enough documentation for the required blood quantum due to the census fire that destroyed most of the records in the early 1900's....it would be morally wrong, and disrespectful to present myself as a native without complete proof....
