I haven't posted before and I am not sure if this how you do it, but I am not laughing at this video.....I am crying.  That last song is the Traveling Bear song and it is used at our bear ceremonies (Paiute, Miwok, Mono, Tubatulabal, Yokuts, all the Central, Eastern and Western Sierra tribes).  When we wake them up in the spring and when we put them to sleep in the fall.  Thse nuage people didn't have words right, but is definitely our song and it is sacred.  Where did she get it?  And to see someone doing that ridiculous dance....so disrespectful...my hearts hurts so much right now.

Thank you, Piff.  I know Mr. Jack.  We are having a ceremony in our area later today and Mr. Jack has called the leader and asked if he could come and bring someone.  I have no idea who he is bringing, but I will be talking to him about him selling the Traveling Bear song.

Of course still appropriating other cultures for her personal gain and still going by the pseudonym "White Eagle Medicine Woman".  In fact, on her website she's now billing herself as "The Mother of the Rainbow Nation".

I suppose the "sanctuary" idea didn't work out when nobody donated so she could buy land so she's reinvented herself again....kind of.  Same old schtick.  But no "grandmother drum" in these performances?  Bet the hide cracked.  I mean, she has no idea how to take care of a drum.  Taking videos laying and standing on it...etc.  Wondering if it got retired.
