Hi everyone.I just got back from Arizona, and have good news! UAOD now
has a new protogrove outside of Pheonix. Thanks to Kate, brian, and
punky for letting me stay at there houses.
Not only were there many people mpressed wth the UAOD,but the natve
amercans  met there saw how similar druidism is to the native american
way.No sooner had I explained the concepts of druidism to some Indians,
than I was invited to a ceremony where I, as representative of the
Druids, was initiated into the mysteries of Native American Magic!!!.
I am lucky (and so as druids, we are all lucky) that I got to learn
under bruce two crows,a descendant of mother yellow owl, the greatest
shaman priestess that was ever known. After a secret passing on of the
wisdom, we sang and danced all night, hypnotized by the drumming of
bruces partners drum, that was so much like a bohdran that I nearly
fell over laughing a few times. We could all really feel the energy of
the sprits of druidism melding with the native american shamanism. I
dreamed all night of the animals of druidism dancing with the animals
of the natives.
On the way here, I stopped in a private place and performed a
ceremeony, some of which concerned some rude people on this group. By
looking at the posts, i see the magic worked, and I am glad to see that
some of us old timers are still around. I tried to get the old bard to
write in, but, tearfully, he had to be put in an old persons home, and
cannot write. Anyhow, I am glad to see that though we lost some
people,the group survived.
