While Chief AJ was preaching for a Tribal Gathering on Aug. 31, 2003 at Ravenden Springs the Spiritual Birth of the Native American Christian Church (NACC) happened from above on a gravel bar in Jane’s Creek. While Native Americans were being baptized in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, the Heavens opened and the motto of the NACC was revealed, "Be a living page out of the New Testament". Sine then the Lord has added to the numbers of the NACC. Chief AJ has baptized many in lakes, creeks rivers and indoor pools.

May 1, 2004 the NACC church charter was first singed and now is open to all who believe that JESUS is the Son of the Great Father and have been baptized. The Chief wants you to belong to the NACC for that is belonging to JESUS!

In 1987, at the age of 50, John "Chief AJ" Huffer shot 40,060 consecutive 2 1/2 inch square pine blocks over a period of 8 days without a single miss, shooting blocks he himself tossed into the air, for 14 hours a day. Huffer accomplished this using 18 .22 Long Rifle Ruger 10/22 rifles, which he cycled through as assistants loaded them for him. Huffer also markets a special "Chief AJ" branded Daisy BB gun, based on a modified model Huffer uses for daily practice, and an instruction manual and video for his style of point shooting.[7][8]

Its almost unbelievable! I guess fatigue wasn't a factor in his point shooting after all it is saying he is throwing the blocks in the air and shooting. Sorry but the claim of doing this 14 hours a day is a little far fetched along with his claim of chief.

Now if he was using a pistol it would be more acceptable less weight and faster response time then per say a ruger 10/22 rifle.

I wouldn't believe anything anyone said that has anything to do with the prophecykeepers. As I remember that is "Blue Otter" or Scott Anderson, or at least use to be.

Huffer is like someone straight out of 1920, a guy who lets himself be paraded around by conservative whites as a "patriot Indian", complete with posing with an Indians R Us headdress. I recall there's an old photo of him online somewhere posing with Reagan while flexing his muscles.

Huffer makes his living promoting bodybuilding, hunting, pellet guns, and arthritis cures, and makes personal appearances promoting "Extreme Christianity." He's claimed to be three-fourths Menominee or Menominee/Cherokee.

Huffer is also enrolled in the Western Cherokee Nation of Arkansas and Missouri. He habitually wears a Plains Indian headdress that seems to have been made by tribe Hollywood.

He was strange when he came to the tribal office with camrea asking people to pose with him of course no one would. he had a mohawk hairdo and a vest with his name Chief AJ.
