Real or Charlatan? Faith or Facts?
To me- this really feels like some kind of New-Agey-Catholic (heavy on Mother Mary) mashup with some Native American shamanism thrown in for good measure. And no it doesn't ring true on my personal truth meter located on my crown- but of course your mileage may vary with what resonates with you. In the the interest of full disclosure- I was initially very excited about this and went online to the FB page and what I saw there- and the promotion/price structure for this and upcoming money-makers...it honestly looks a lot like a pyramid scheme thing- much like the "reconnection" thing with the gimmicky price structure. What really left me with a bad taste in my mouth was the FB page promoting this- to see any modern woman today being glamorized for dressing in a dead animal- with half it's face and ears still attached- well I honestly don't know what they were thinking with this "photo shoot"? I found it sickening but maybe if she had represented herself as indigenous- was that the angle? For seekers like me though- research didn't turn up ANYTHING. This woman who holds herself to be a prophet- pretty much doesn't exist at least under the name of Kaia Ra...Personally I like a bit more than vague background. Unless she just dropped out of the sky one day- and I am being serious when I acknowledge that is maybe a real possibility but...I'm just not real big on that "blind faith" deal but if that's what floats your boat or gets you your wings folks- it's all yours.

KR uses all Nuage trends and buzz words. Everything is tossed at the wall to see what sticks / what will convince people to give her money. If you don't like "quantum" and "oversoul" you can get "divine genome" and "paradigm breakthroughs". "Ascended Masters". Transmissions, activations, empowerments, initiations. Immersives and miracles. Something for every Nuage consumer. Including a "dragon tribe". Mount Shasta and Sedona are favorite locations.

I look at all the money that went into that set and all that bling, the hair and makeup and photography and tattooing... the money made by these people... then I think of the poverty that the people she's stealing from live in. The way the actual spiritual leaders of these cultures live - simple but spiritual. Not consumerist. Not capitalist. Not like this.

Speaking of performance, I wonder if KR will eventually claim that this all is simply performance art, an art project. Although she is making much more money by pretending it is authentic.

KR says that when her big vision happened in 2009, she conveniently was at her computer so she was able to transcribe what the supposed spirit goddesses told her.
KR preaches the gospel of "it's all the same-ism". She ping pongs from Mother Mary to Isis to whoever as if they are simply different flavors of all the same thing.
I've watched parts of several videos, of her lectures and channeling sessions. I'm familiar with Nuage channeling done in the mid to late 1980s, and I see a lot in common with what KR is doing now. KR has sexed and blinged up channeling, but it is still the same old thing. Her version is extra offensive.

This is a seriously problematic thing that the newagers, and some of the neopagans, are doing.
I first noticed it in the 1990s with some of the English neopagans who were trying to rebrand and sell Arthurian legends as Celtic spiritual practices. They took Arthur's story of rising from obscure orphan to King (which is basically the Harry Potter story, as well) as a kind of Hero's Journey and model of "personal empowerment." As part of this, they started using "personal sovereignty" as a buzzword for personal power, boundaries, "prosperity", etc... all the stuff newagers "pray" for.
Aside from the usual narcissism of the newage, it may not have been quite so offensive over there. But here on Turtle Island, with ongoing struggles for Indigenous Sovereignty... having a bunch of white people play Indian in a quest for personal "Sovereignty" takes on a decidedly sinister intent.
Here in America, in that context, no matter what she says... I look at those pictures and I think it's just code for white supremacy.

She says in her book that by age 3 she was talking with angels and also hounded by demons. She says for the first 18 years of her life she was raped and tortured daily, eventually forced into a "child rape slave trade for an elite ruling class". She says this involves the "highest tiers of Masonic ceremonies of Satanic ritual rape and torture in the United States". She claims that she witnessed the abuse and murder of countless other children also.
Either she is delusional or she is callously drawing delusional people to her for her own financial gain.
In 2014 she referred to Jason Dean Cudd/ Dane Goldenwolf as her "beloved". My guess is that he is the source of her feathers, he makes feather fans, and can be seen in videos doing dances with feather fans while she does her supposed spiritual performances.
KR is potentially making a lot of money. Before being allowed to attend her special workshops, a person must first do a full year of video classes with her, this costs $1,300. Only then can a person apply to attend a "sacred site immersive", which requires more money.
There is lots more to buy. A mp3 file that will awaken a "divine genome within you to begin interfacing with your carbon-based DNA" for $244. A channeled reading is $895. Quantum Healing session is $895.
Kaia Ra is basically running a modern day fortunetelling scam. She claims she has special powers. People pay her for readings and she hooks them for further readings. She encourages clients to become dependent on her.

At Reddit, there is a discussion of the Netflix series "The OA" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_OA). There I found this interesting comparison:

Let me preface this theory and discussion by saying that in the past I have fully subscribed to modern new age spirituality, and have believed that anyone can develop their psychic abilities and use them for the "highest good." It's a long story that I don't have the time to get into right now, and am honestly not ready to discuss publically, but watching the OA has been one of many things that has made me pause and critically analyze the new age movement and what led me to it in the first place. I'm honestly a lot like the 5 who were drawn to the OA.
So, for interested people, I wanted to draw your attention to two leaders/figures in the new age community who have a large following, and claim to have suffered horrible trauma, which led to their psychic abilities. Both Teal Swan (https://tealswan.com/) and Kaia Ra (http://kaiara.com/) claim to have suffered from Satanic Ritual Abuse (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satanic_ritual_abuse) in their childhood. They claim this repeated satanic abuse, involving rape, led to numerous NDE's in which they left their physical bodies and were in direct communication with "angels" and other "beings of a high vibration." They claim that this trauma gave them special powers and psychic abilities which have allowed them to amass huge followings. It isn't clear whether they truly did suffer this abuse, or if they genuinely believe they suffered this abuse, or if they are making it up entirely in an attempt to appear credible to vulnerable individuals looking for answers and guidance, much like Buck/Betty/Steve/Jesse/French.
I think this is a common theme in modern spiritual leaders. At least the ones who resemble cult leaders. There have been many reports that Teal Swan has stolen content to create her own book, which reminds me a bit of the books found under the OA's bed (http://www.thepetitionsite.com/591/052/718/tell-hay-house-not-to-publish-a-book-of-plagiarized-and-harmful-teachings/). She's also encouraged suicide as a means of "cleansing one's karma" and pushing the "reset button," which has literally led to numerous suicides in her followers! In every one she is presenting herself as an authority on a variety of spiritual topics.
Kaia Ra is a more recent figure that has just popped up, that gives me the serious creeps. She recently published a book called The Sophia Code which is a text she claims to be composed of direct communications from god, who she calls Sophia, and her "dragon tribe" of ascended masters, conveniently borrowed from a slew of ancient cultures (appropriative af). In my own little corner of the new age community, this book absolutely blew up and was praised for it's power to help you "remember who you really are" as a vessel of god's own power, light, and sovereignty. And by the way, when I check out the production company's website that produced this interview, I can't find anything about them. (http://www.illumtv.com/) It makes me think the whole production company was fabricated in order to produce this interview and attempt to give Kaia Ra credibility.
Similarities between the OA and these figures:
• they claim to have suffered unimaginable trauma
• they rename themselves and disassociate from their families.
• they claim and appear to have special powers or access to psychic/interdimensional information
• they easily attract a following and are remarkably clever
• they have a magnetic quality
• they have a story to tell
I can lengthen this list if there's anything else you notice or want added.
I don't get a creepy and manipulative vibe from the OA as I do with Teal Swan and Kaia Ra, who seem interested in amassing wealth and huge followings, but there are many similarities in their narratives that made me feel it was worth bringing up here. Also worth mentioning that there are many people in the spiritual community who claim to have psychic powers but are NOT interested in fame/wealth but just in genuinely helping people.
If nothing else, I hope this gives you another worm hole to go down if you're running out of those.

Colleen Anne Santoro /Kaia Ra basically does an overwrought modern tent revival here. She claims that she has the answer to the current fires in California and other natural disasters. She insists that they are not "natural" and hints that they have some sort of supernatural cause. She speaks in a dramatic fashion to encourage listeners to rivet attention and believe what she is saying.
She says that she has visions. That we can learn from her "angelic technology" to protect us. We are encouraged to buy her "Golden Dragon Light Body" audio to learn further how to do this.
I admit that I don't understand her talk about parallel universes. She unfortunately uses what she terms "Nazi Germany" as an example - according to her some people chose to come from a parallel universe to be helpful, they themselves never being harmed and that "they even lived well".
She claims that we don't "even necessarily need to eat food", we only do it because we've been programmed to do so for centuries.
She says vampires are causing ..........I dunno what .......natural disasters?
She says we all came to earth to be "literal angels". And she refers to the "fucking apocalypse".
I believe that Colleen Santoro / Kaia Ra is dangerous at this point. She is using natural disasters to whip up further fear and anxiety, she harangues followers in an overwrought manner, and then convinces them to buy her products.
I don't know if she herself is unstable and delusional. No matter what, she is working to draw delusional people to her. Already delusional and vulnerable people may suffer and decompensate further if they follow her.

I’ve met “Kaia Ra” aka Colleen in person. Being around her is uncomfortable. The sort of discomfort one feels when you’re around someone who is so deeply out of touch, so deeply involved in her own lies about herself. That disassociated feeling? Know what I’m talking about? Self important. Better than you. Out of touch with reality. Deeply disturbed and believing this incredible mythology about herself. Please, if you think this woman has any wisdom at all to offer go listen to any one of the YouTube videos she has out. If you can stand it for more than 10 minutes. She uses very extravagant language, but if you actually study and listen to what she saying it’s absolute gobbledygook. Using flamboyant words does not mean you have any actual wisdom to impart. Sorry “Kaia” not signing up for one of you $800 energy work sessions either.

“Colleen had a normal, happy childhood,” David assured me. She sang in chorus, played on the Medway Valley High Volleyball team, and was in an Amnesty International-type club. They shared the same art teacher, Mrs. Seidler, whom they both loved.
During a phone call, Colleen’s mother told me she had a “good upbringing.” Her younger sister, who grew up in the same house, also confirmed during an interview Colleen was raised in a relatively normal middle-class home.
Nowadays, Colleen has cut off contact with David and the entire family. “The last thing I heard from her, and this was years ago, was ‘Fuck you and fuck your unborn son,” David told me. He had sent a few pictures of his kids to her thinking she might enjoy them. She responded with a 14-page cease and desist order, but he didn’t recognize the name on the form. It said Kaia Ra.
“We were best friends until she started acting crazy,” David said. “Something happened.” She was in her early twenties when he first noticed the shift. “She robbed my apartment and was doing a bunch of drugs.” One afternoon he got a call from an Oakland detective saying Kaia was being investigated. David recalled it was about her convincing old people on their deathbeds to sign over their property as she treated them with reiki. Kaia’s sister also received a call from the same detective. The police had received several complaints, he said.

I wish the followers of Colleen Santoro, who renamed herself Kaia Ra, would at least ask her for answers to the gaping holes in her testimony as a victim. After all, she uses this testimony to supposedly justify her divine authority to lead people to higher levels of spiritual consciousness.
First, she claims to have been raped and tortured daily from age 3-18. DAILY? Is that even possible? Could a perpetrator have the energy to rape and torture someone every day for 15 years? And if she was continually sex trafficked across several states as she claims, how could she have the normal school attendance record every child has to pass elementary, middle and high school? In addition, she was seen most every Sunday by whole congregations at church? Did alll this trafficking happen on Saturdays? If so, how come her siblings never noticed her missing for any long unexplainable stretch of time.
Of all the people who saw, knew and loved Colleen from birth to the age of 18, how is it possible that NOT ONE person saw any any signs of abuse on a kid who now, as an adult, claims she was raped and tortured daily? How could such evidence escape her pediatrician? Or her school medical records? Or late night conversations with her best friends?
Colleen claims that her 'real' birth mother, Constance, was murdered and Kaia Ra was placed in the hands of her 'handler parents' at age 3. Since most of her followers never saw her at that age, they don't see, as we clearly do, how impossible this claim is. Our family celebrated her birthdays. Her childhood is well documented in family photos. Her followers buy her jewelry that claims to stop depression and suicidal thoughts. Why don't they ask what OBJECTIVE evidence Colleen has to prove such outlandish claims? If I had a seriously depressed daughter, I'd want a lot more evidence before I traded her prescribed meds for Kaia Ra jewelry..
This is America. There's nothing wrong with jumping from the East to West coast and changing your name and re-inventing yourself. But when you publicly defame your real family to falsely claim they abused you, then use that fake story with a few imaginative embellishments to proclaim yourself a New Age oracle -- it's just plain fraud. And if her real family is silent when we know the truth about her deceit, then we become accessories to her pulling the wool over her followers' eyes. She will not use me that way.
Understandably, Colleen's followers might want to protect the reputation of the self- conjured Kaia Ra they idolize. I ask that you please, first consider the family she continues to throw under the bus every time she repeats her false testimony.
