I think I heard that Mary was married at one time to a native man and that's how she got the name Iron Elk - a name from her husband. I think they either divorced or he passed over some time ago.
I ask about them because they have been here in Florida and have a bad reputation for not being honest. I've never dealt with them but a few traditional natives I know have and their POV is that these two are rip-off artists. I hate saying that about anyone but after the calls I just received from an artist I know to be very honest and traditional I have to ask if anyone knows anything about them.
