I was given my Indian name by a respected Indian Elder of our people. Like him, many respected elders has since passed on, but still lives in the ceremonies and customs of our people. This is the way of my people. It was told to me by my elders that, "we must preserve our was to remain Cherokee. We do this or our history will be forgotten." This auction is for one printed document. On the document, framable, you will find your new Indian name. Through a centuries old process I will select an Indian name for you, based on you! Once the lucky bidder wins this auction, simply send me a brief discription of yourself, be sure to include anything that is unusual about yourself, and your full legal name. I will then start the process of obtaining your new adult Indian name. Although this name can be and has been changed through history, it may very well be your adult Indian name for the duration of your life! This is a fun way to participate in a centuries old custom.
