Title: Erick Gonzalez AKA Omeakaehekatl
Post by: educatedindian on August 28, 2011, 02:51:21 pm
His name has come up briefly before as someone who has worked with the exploiters at Manataka. Gonzalez is NOT Mayan, but seems to be a Guatemalan of criollo ancestry selling ceremony all across the US.

The name Omeakaehekatl is not a Mayan name.  Mexican names that end with the letters -TL are Aztec, not Mayan. The Aztecs speak the Nahuatl language, which has no historical relationship with the Maya.  Erick Gonzalez lives in Northern California. Claiming to be a Mayan priest, he is involved in selling workshops on “Mayan Shamanism“, ceremonies, incense, tobacco, herbs, and associated items.

---------

Got reports from someone wishing to remain confidential. Altered to keep identity secret.

---------

I do know someone that has had bad experiences with him and his group.
It goes on in [deleted]. He has used peyote, wachuma, aminita mascaria, poison frog venom, all in his secret "ceromonies" which is why people don't know about it.
He charges a lot of money. We are getting a lot of very intimidating looks and had several threats from people in his group for educating people to make informed choices as to what is really going on in his groups.
[There was] someone that was chucked out of their program for questioning their methods and techniques. [Deleted] was told was twofaced and could'nt be involved with any one that wasn't in ceromony.
They spy on one another, stick together, are given "sacred medicines" to take after he leaves and has people bringing it in when he is not even here.
He is separating people. He has people give and make him a lot of gifts. He promoted himself as teaching ancient indigenous medicines. They ended up on peyote and following his agenda which is totally different from what they signed up for.
Nine Fires Training, you get a red sash at the end of training.
It all amounts to nothing to do with healing, which is what these people went in for, mostly women.
They are mixing several different cultures medicines, beliefs, and practices together and calling it ancient traditional ways. It amounts to new age ripoff.
This turned out much bigger than helping someone to exit a cult. We are looking for a safe place to bring peoples attention to it and for them to be educated as to see what this really does to you and make informed choices.

He uses Amanita Muscaria? Seriously? While it is true that it has been used to put people in a state of delirium, for shamanic reasons, it is dangerous. I belong to the local mycological group and amanita muscaria destroys part of your liver EVERY time you use it. EVERY time. There was a study done in a Scandinavian country, can't remember which one off hand, where there was a village that men died in their 40's and women lived into their 80's. It was found that the men, starting at puberty, took amanita muscaria during rituals. By the time they readched their 40's, their livers were gone. The women never used it.  And I am clear on the word delirium. That is what the toxin causes. This guy is stupid and he is harming people.

Apparently Gonzalez has been doing quite a bit of harm to many of the Haida. I received this account of his "ceremonies" with drug abuse, ceremony selling, and cultlike control of followers. Moved to Frauds.

----------

Presently we are trying to educate our local citizens about the hazards of not keeping to your own territorial protocol. We have experienced serious repercussions for letting Erick Gonzalez into our territory. He took full advantage of the vulnerable and knew exactly how to seduce the right ones to get what he wanted. many people with addictions were sucked in to his"sacred medicines".

First he comes in humble presenting himself as a spiritual leader that conducts a community fire ceremoney, this actually costs $400 and up. At this gathering he can determine who to zone in on and further his solicitation skills.

His next tool of entrapment are his "one on ones", where he has private consultation with whoever is seeking spiritual help. This is probably the worst trap anyone could get in with him because he can and will begin to seduce you and impress upon that person what their next step is in order to make their payment to the spirit world to enhance their ability to become aligned. Erick investigates his clients and evaluates their worth and skill and service for his own fulfillment. It is tragic how many people we have witness to be exploited by him. And when he feels he has achieved his particular extractions from that resource ,he becomes uninterested in you and moves on to the next person, or he'll up the ante and challenge you to come up with a bigger commitment of service, payment or whatever seems unattainable in order for you to rate.

This is where a lot of the damage kicks in , especially for the women who have become involved with his 'sacred teachings and ceremonies'. He solicits service from to organize and recruit members of our community to finance his next visit, line up one on ones, organize sweat lodges and community fire ceremonies and then the big wham o, organize and arrange an intensive filling it with as many people as possible earning him thousands of dollars as well as acquiring many valuable gifts which are to be offered to the altar as payment to the spirit world. One for the animal.plant, mineral and the spirit. He lectures us on orientating the ones who attend to think about their gifts and to be committed in their value. We would get in trouble if the gifts seemed inferior, it would piss him off and he would go into punishment mode to make us hound the others to improve upon this each time.

Erick in the end received many many valuable gifts, family heirlooms and gifts of gold jewellery, silver, gems, furs, valuable pipes indigenous to our territory, drums, eagle feather fans, traditional dancing button blankets, penedleton wool collectors blankets, carved paddles used by our dancers, series of carved argillite poles, cedar woven hats indigenous to our clans and heritage, songs, even a Haida name from our territory, eagle whistles, flutes, elaborate beadweavings, clothing with our crest (vests, jackets, capes , scarves) valuable books about our artists and history, and more.

The women became weak as he continued to seduce them with their private one on ones ,saying special prayers with them and putting them into trancelike states, hypnotic methods of inducing them with his directions and needs. He would reboot these ways by phone, they cost $100 and we also had to send gifts that expressed our gratitude for those prayers.

The intensives were essentially a psychoactive drug retreat where he controlled our every move thru a dusk to dawn event and we could approach the altar to consume whatever he was dishing out as many times as we liked and any amount that we wanted to spoon into our mouths, or drink down the concoction that was there. We had to have permission to go to the bathroom, which was outside in the dark and had to have permission to come back in. We had to wait for the right cues to approach the altar and on and on it goes.

He had very strong concoctions of peyote brew and powder, wachuma, and the frog venom which he had us smoke from a glass pipe. He also administrated ammanita brew and ammanita caps, many addicted people hooked on cocaine, crack, pills, alcohol, tobacco and marijuana attended . We could not understand how this was going to heal anybody as they would always continue to do their drugs after he left. when the ceremonies were over he would give each participant a bag of peyote buttons and peyote brew and instructed them to share with those who they deemed needing the sacred medicine. so there was no damage control with his activities and his was continuously soliciting vulnerable people and making followers out of addicted souls.

One woman he recommended she take the ammanita tea often and work with the medicine, he also had her roped in to giving him valuable gifts, and he started to leverage her into a position of a spiritual elder and seduced her to believe that she was a wisdom keeper. He saw her important political position and access that she had in her community with village business, and he knew he could count on her to back him with the funding he was seeking for his next event. This lady had physical aliments and we noticed as she got deeper in with erick attending his deer mtn events and guatemala events that she started looking sicker, she soon died and when she died her body turned instantly black. We asked elders in the south what does this mean, and they commented that it was peyote poisoning, which she would have been taking regularly under erick's advice as he claims peyote heals everything. Ammanita is declared a poison in our toxicology center.

One of us who experienced erick's amanita medicine events described the results to our local chief of staff at our hospital and they said we were having a full blown poisonous reaction and that we were damaging our livers and do not know what we are damaging. The one who reported this experienced severe memory loss and extreme arthritic attacks that lasted for 3 years.  Erik is very dangerous and we want people to know that he doesn't care about you, even if you die, people need to know that he is greedy to any extent and will create poverty in your family, and will not give up to continue to get more.

Even to this day as we talk to concerned members in our community ,rcmp, doctors, clergy, chiefs and whoever will listen we see he continues to solicit people in our community to make them believe that he is a spiritual elder and there is still vulnerable women with identity crisis and needy who are falling for him sending him love on his facebook communications. His wife Heddi Neale is constantly solicitng for erick , targeting our indigenous youth to attend wisdom elders and youth conference or gathering, also known as 7th annual wisdom keepers gathering at deer mountain. They want our kids to attend and go across the border, they make it sound like it's for youth and that is a healthy affair, but it is another psycho active retreat with freaks from allover. we are trying to warn the parents and also let them know that travel insurance does not cover drug retreats and if they are physically harmed they will not be covered. We do not want to see any more victims and people need to know what has happened .

Right now erick is planning his next stage of attack at blue deer center in ny. I don't know these people but when you look at the sales pitch on erick in their coming events i would highly recommend to whoever is invested in blue deer center to not engage with ercik as he has a master plan to seek and destroy that is relentless. He will be there in april and he is charging $575 for his fire ceremony.

Another note the amounts of peyote give at the retreats here were too abundant and it stimulated and feed the addictions of some of the youth who attended and now they are hooked on peyote and are recruiting youth for ercik the problem with our youth they are still developing their critical thinking and do not know that they are being abused. they also mix their peyote with other drugs which lead to may ambulatory cases here which the doctors couldn't explain until we disclosed to them what was happening. erick makes everyone involved lie and keep secrets to protect his activities.

He puts phobias into them and makes us swear not to discuss the sacred medicines. it's all pretty pathetic but true. sad for many of us who are left wounded wondering what happened, feeling ashamed and embarrassed and helpless to find redress. On the deathbed of the woman who died , a friend of ours told us that her last words were, stop the ceremonies, stop the fires, stop the medicines. it was too late for her to straighten out the damage done to her.3 days after her death, a man died of exposure from a psychotic break given the so called sacred medicines from some one in our community, seems pretty important when people begin to die to warn others sacred medicine shouldn't kill you. erick had a popular theme to all of his intensives, "you will go on a shamanic journey and experience a shamanic death and when you come back you can redesign your life" well it happened parts of us if not all of us died , not recommended if you want to be here to watch your children grow. I want everyone to know that this is criminal and don't be hoodwinked no matter how starved you are for a spiritual journey. It should be common household knowledge that erick and his wife Heddi are no good.

What an evil and disgusting man!

I am horrified by how one man can do so much damage to 1st Nations people.

I did a little digging via google.

He has a website called Earth People's United where he advertises the services of various "wisdom keepers"

www.earthpeoplesunited.org

according to the site

Tata OmeAkaEhekatl Erick Gonzalez

OmeAkaEhekatl Erick Gonzalez, International Coordinator and member of the Great Confederation of the Councils of the Principal Mayan Ajq´ijab´ of Guatemala, was initiated into Native sacred rites over a thirty year period with direct participation, teachings, and guidance from various Native spiritual elders from Mexico, North America, Colombia, Peru, and Guatemala. He has worked with Native Elders and Youth Councils throughout the Americas supporting the work of international sharing and preservation of sacred wisdom teachings since 1979, promoting increased cooperation and unity between diverse communities throughout the world.

OmeAkaEhekatl Erick Gonzalez was born in Guatemala and moved to the U.S. with his parents when he was 11 years old. In 1978 he was adopted by the Mexiko Teotlkalli Kalpull Koatlkalko and the teacher Tlakaelel and given the name OmeAkaEhekatl in 1978. He was made an Aj Q’ij (Mayan Spiritual Guide and Daykeeper) in 1994 with the Great Confederation of AjQ’ijab of the Original Peoples of Guatemala and received his bundle through the teacher Apolinario Chile Pixtun. In 2005, he was adopted into the Ts’aalth Clan, the five finned killer whale people of the Eagle Clan of the Haida, and given the name Gaada, meaning supernatural light.

Erick is a member and representative of various councils of Indigenous elders, youth, and spiritual guides. His personal healing and ceremonial work can be seen in more depth through Mayan Shamanism.

OmeAkaEhekatl is working to create two models of spiritual land stewardship: one in Guatemala on the shores of Lake Atitlan, and one north of Mt. Shasta in Northern California. These are being created to demonstrate how to live in harmony with and appreciate the natural and spiritual worlds, restore land and create natural food and medicine gardens, and be places for indigenous wisdom keepers to come together to share their wisdom and ceremonies.

his haida name" gaada " means WHITE ,this is what it is taught to mean in the elementary classes. not "supernatural light" as he claims ( could his name be a result from indian humor?)

I wrote this email to the Earth Day organizers. Email addresses are here:
http://earthdayconf.businesscatalyst.com/contact.html Wrote to Neale, Gorlin, Low, and Hawk.

Here's my email to them. I urge others to write also, feel free to use my email as a model. With any luck we can get him  pulled. If not we can contact local media and police and urge an investigation since likely he's going to be recruiting students there to come to his workshops and take drugs.

-----------
Hello,

My name is Dr. Al Carroll. I'm a history professor at Northern Virginia Community College, teaching American, American Indian, and Latin American History. I'm also a moderator and volunteer researcher at NAFPS or New Age Frauds Plastic Shamans.

We investigate and put out warnings to the general public about imposters and exploiters who pose as American Indian medicine people for profit, to gain a cult following, or otherwise abuse those with an interest in Native spiritual traditions. More on NAFPS is here at this link.
http://www.newagefraud.org/about.html

I'm writing to each of you with strong concerns about one of the presenters at your Earth Day Conference, Erick Gonzalez. We have a thread devoted to research on Gonzalez.
http://www.newagefraud.org/smf/index.php?topic=3420.0

As you can see, Gonzalez is an imposter who poses as a Mayan healer. He is not Mayan at all. A true Mayan would identify which of the several dozen ethnic Mayan groups they are part of, Kiche for example, and likely would also identify by their community.

A further sign of him being an obvious imposter is taking an alleged Native name which is not even Mayan, but Nahua or Aztec, from central Mexico and not Guatemala, and him not even knowing the meaning his allegedly Indian name.

Gonzalez is criollo, Latin American but entirely of white European ancestry. He has no standing or support among Mayans in Guatemala. What he does is sell "pay to pray" ceremonies that he pretends are Mayan to non-Native people in northern California and elsewhere.

A true Native medicine person would not be trying to profit off of Native traditions. They would not go to make money in the US, but would be where they are most needed, among their people. Both his imposture and exploitation of Native traditions are deeply offensive to Native traditionalists and regarded as crass and unspiritual.

In addition you can see at the link that Gonzalez promotes illegal drug use and abuse. His "ceremonies" involve heavy use of amanita muscaria, which is very dangerous, destructive, and illegal.

He also gives out peyote at his "ceremonies". It is illegal to sell, possess, or use peyote, unless one is an enrolled tribal member and a member of the Native American Church (NAC) who use it under very limited controlled circumstances. Gonzalez is neither an enrolled Native nor an NAC member.

Gonzalez is listed as doing a "workshop" at your event:

Is Gonzalez planning to give out or encourage the use of illegal drugs?

How would it look if the media were to receive reports of illegal drug use (or promottion of drug use) going on at a conference at a public university?

Even if he is not planning on handing out drugs, likely he will recruit students to come and take drugs at his "ceremonies."

As you can also see at the link, there are complaints of Gonzalez operating an outright cult or cultlike conditions, of people pressured into giving him all their money or valuables, of dissent not being allowed at gatherings, and of damage done to the health of those at his faux ceremonies.

In the strongest terms I urge you to reconsider having him at your event. Such an exploiter should not be given legitimacy by having his name associated with such a noble cause as Earth Day.

Though it is unfortunately only a short time til your event I am urging other members of NAFPS to contact you. And should Gonzalez be giving out "workshops" at your event and recruiting for his cult, I will do my best to contact local media and law enforcement and urge them to investigate him and any drug sales or abuse he carries out at his workshops.

Thank you for your attention to this matter,

Dr. Al Carroll

Portland Oregon went through a lot back in the Rajneesh days, many folks ended up in the hospital there, all of Oregon has already gone through a lot with the cult/drug/crime scene. Hopefully a reporter or two is then more likely to listen to concerns about Erick Gonzalez.

i've found these links on the internet so they must be for all of the public to see .i can't help but wonder about the youth that are used to promote his business, are their parents aware of what they are involved in, are they given drugs under the guise of sacred medicines? these sacred medicines are real medivines when used properly, using poison and calling it traditional medicine is a criminal act,
all of those that promote and support earth peoples united are just as guilty as gonzales and his crew, i hope that the people doingf so will get their critical thinking back and help stop people such as erick gonzales or any other high demand group that makes participants follow what the leader says is good for them (the leaders agenda) ,instead of finding answers that are good and siutable for making themselves well.

In reference to all of the acclaimed names which Erick Gonzalez promotes himself with, the fact remains that he still administrated Amanita Mascaria (poisonous mushroom from Haida Gwaii) and took it upon himself to promote and label it as a traditional Haida Medicine. Participants who trusted him experienced full blown poisonous reactions. Sliding into a mild coma, salivating all thru the nite, and shivering to the bones and waking up trenched remembering nothing. Comatose thru the night , not being able to get up to urinate or doctor oneself, and not being able to help anyone around who may have needed help. This was Erick’s idea of a sacred medicine journey which he charged some over $500 or more dollars for. Some actually believed that they had survived a shamanic task and became more diluted about how great Erick’s “supernatural healing” techniques were. Little did they know they were being experimented on and victimized at the same time.
One local doctor from Haida Gwaii has posted this important issue about anyone giving this potent poisonous mushroom out, please read below:

1. It is not right to be poisoned by mushrooms and not told that you are being poisoned by mushrooms eg
I talked to poison control and asked if my wife died from mushrooms I fed her would you say I poisoned her and they said "of course".

2. It is not right to be rendered unconscious and out of control with a drug when there are not strict measures in place to make sure the people rendering you unconscious are not taking advantage of you when in a vulnerable state ....eg how many people would willingly take the date rape drug which basically the same thing.  Last I heard giving the date rape drug to an unwitting person was a crime.

 3. Peyote, Toad Venom, and Aminita Mushrooms are not traditional Haida Medicines ... I talked to a few elders here and none of them were aware of the use of Amanita in the way those people are using it.  I doubt it is because they are not in the loop.  Maybe they were given to slaves or enemies or people to be manipulated but they were not given as cures.

Amanita mascaria is listed as a poison in our BC Toxicology Center. No amount of fancy names will make poisoning people right . These are only ways to hide and pretend . To  be accountable for your actions is what makes a human admirable .

Anyone funding or financing these ceremonial events and trainings, are liable for being sued for  potentially setting up unsuspecting people for physical ,emotional and spiritual harm. Also crossing borders to USA from Canada and to Guatemala to do drug retreats voids your travel medical insurance and life insurance if anything happens to you where medical attention is needed. Travel medical insurance does not cover drug retreats!

The Royal Mounted Police have issued a warning on Erick Gonzalez. This was published in the Haida Observer 9-6-12, pg 23.

Pls repost widely anywhere Gonzalez's scams are promoted.

----------
Concerns raised about ceremonial drug use
Submitted by the Masset RCMP

The Masset RCMP has received information from concerned citizens of Haida Gwaii about a group called the Earth People United and the group's
founder Erick Gonzalez. The group's website states that'their mission is to connect people to the natural and spiritual world, and to bridge the wisdom
of'the Ancient Ones with the world of today. One of the concerns raised by the public is that the group may be encouraging and facilitating the use of hallucinogenic drugs during the religious ceremonies in order to experience a spiritual state of nrind.

It has been reported that drugs such as pevote mescaline and ayahuasca may be used during these ceremonies to elicit hallucinations that are then being interpreted as spiritual or ceremonial. It should be noted that mescaline in any form is a controlled substance and is listed in the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Possession or distribution of mescaline would contravene the act and could result in charges.

The Masset RCMP is urging the public to think critically. about the use these so-called 'healing" or "spiritual" drugs. Not only are some of these substances  illegal in Canada but it has been reported that they can produce negative long-term side effects, including insomnia, anxiety, emotional instability and headaches. The illegal nature of these hallucinogenic drugs and their health risks should be taken very seriously if considering their use.

The other concern that is being communicated by community members is that traditional Haida gifts are being given to the group's founder, Erick Gonzalez: These culturally relevant gifts are provided in addition to a fee fhat is required to attend the ceremonies. The tradition of gifting is a widely accepted practice and it is not suggested that it should be stopped. What is of concern is the expectation of receiving a gift. Any group or individual that expresses the expectation of receiving a gift should be questioned in regards to their motives.

At this time the Masset RCMP is continuing the investigation into this matter and encourages people who may have further information to contact Const. Scott McDiarmid at 250-626-3991.

I sent paypal this letter below.

I think this is a tactic we can use against any exploiter who uses paypal if there's illegal activitty we can point to.

Just go to paypal's acceptable use policy, see if the fraud is violating it, then send a complaint. It seems to me paypal should pull their account because they'd worry about legal liability on their part.

----------
You have a paypal user, Erick Gonzalez AKA OmeAkaEhekatl. He runs an organization called Earth Peoples United.

Gonzalez is a white man who poses as a Mayan Indian spiritual leader or healer. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have issued a warning against him for drug use and abuse in his "ceremonies" and workshops.

The drugs being used and abused by this cult Gonzalez leads includes mescaline and ayahuasca, both of which are illegal.

The warning is online at  http://www.newagefraud.org/smf/index.php?topic=3832.0
The warning also lists a number of the RCMP.

Paypal should not be letting its services be used to pay for illegal activity such as Gonzalez promotes.

Please contact me with follow up on the action your company will take.

One of the best ways a person can contribute is to become a member for only $26/month or $260/year. Becoming a member is a way to stay connected to the sacred teachings and each other. Our intent is to keep connecting and serving people that are dedicated to embracing the spiritual teachings at this time, and provide greater access to what is being shared for those that are unable to join us for in-person teachings, gatherings, and ceremonies.??Members are participating and co-creating in the larger spiritual vision of Earth Peoples United. Member support also ensures TJU can provide free access for all people to have access to the website, receive monthly TJU - EPU e-newsletters, and participate in quarterly equinox/solstice Tele-Greetings and Mayan Prayers by OmeAkaEhekatl Erick Gonzalez. Members also gain exclusive access to events, teachings, discounts, and more.

Responsibilities
To cultivate and foster relationships with people in your community and to connect to others through monthly gatherings and activities inspired by TJU members and participants. Assist in the identification and development of local leaders.  Maintain close relations with TJU Ceremonial Coordinator and touch base through telephone calls, emails and the required monthly teleconference.

Benefits
Community Organizers receive the deepest spiritual teachings through their dedication to serving others, and working directly with our Spiritual Leader, Spiritual Guides and/or Ceremonial Coordinators.

These are some quotes taken from a volunteer recruitment solicitation in late 2009. This was a very well organized campaign to infiltrate communities. They clearly laid out what they want in donations, volunteers, community organizers (especially ones who can identify and recruit current community leaders), grant writing, fund raising, event planners, web maintenance and email coordination, newsletter editor, transcribers, and what they call "matchmakers" which is ongoing fundraising.

Quote
MatchMakers
Does our vision resonate deeply in your heart? If so, consider joining our circle of Match Makers and commit to connecting us with donors, volunteers or artists each year. If you feel inspired to connect us with other meaningful resources, you may also join this circle of support. To receive member benefits, you must be able to demonstrate that you’ve connected us with a half-dozen people or organizations per year.

The RCMP has issued a warning notice about this group http://www.thenorthernview.com/news/169704226.html?mobile=true (http://www.thenorthernview.com/news/169704226.html?mobile=true) But Erick Gonzalez and crew already had done a lot of ground work in hooking people, some are still taking peyote during sweats, and using hallucinogenic drugs at levels well above usual medicinal ceremonial levels.

Erick's followers shun ex-members, glare at them, and spread negative rumors. Followers call ex-members traitors, two faced, and say that they have crossed over to the dark side. Erick's followers use gossip as a poison weapon.

Erick Gonzalez told a Haida woman with cancer that she would be cured if she followed his instructions. He told her to take peyote, do certain prayers, have ceremonies done. He kept in touch with her through phone calls, as she became more isolated.

Before she passed on she said that people needed to stop the fires, stop the ceremonies and prayers, that they were no good.

But Erick Gonzalez still has tight control over his devotees. Some have even gone on to become exploiters themselves.

Survivors report: Erick, Chuck and Lency Spezzano had an arranged meeting in B.C. in 2009, poisonous frog venom was smoked there. Erick administered it.

When the Ngystle Society brought in and funded Erick to do intensives, these intensives were actually drug retreats. No one was screened for meds or addictions. Many people who attended were already on something, such as coke, pot, alcohol. There is no after care or check up to see how people are doing afterwards.

Erick would distribute bagfuls of mescaline to participants.

People who already have addictions have been preyed upon, not helped. People have switched to Erick caused addictions, and believe they are now doing something spiritual.

Even if Erick does not return to Canada, he has his mules and pushers working for him.

Funders are told that all this is "traditional indigenous medicine", indigenous to that area, but it is not.

Copying my reply from another thread ( http://www.newagefraud.org/smf/index.php?topic=4218.0 ) since the threadstarter refers to Erick Gonzalez as a white person:

There is one person I know listed here, for example, who I would prefer not to mention. I have personally witnessed many of hundreds of people come through his ceremonies. He is a white person who shares a community chanupa in a weekly ceremony and offers huachuma healing ceremonies on some weekends. He has been doing this for many years and has been trained by native healers, who I have noticed are also listed here. He doesn't do things in a strictly traditional way because he is not working with native people. I know that his mission is to get as much medicine in as many white people as possible to affect change in the world in a collective way. Although he has a decent house and everything he needs materially, he is not a rich man and lives a humble life of constant service. Many other close-to-70 year olds are sitting around watching TV and taking naps, or traveling on their pensions, not sitting up all night with their aching bodies doctoring people, counseling them and cleaning up vomit.
[...]

Ms. Muschinski is referring to fraud Erick Gonzalez of the Earth Peoples United cult.

Ms., contrary to what you think he is NOT Native. He is a Guatemalan of entirely European ancestry doing a fraudulent knock off of Mayan ways mangled together with faux Lakota ceremony.
Emphasis mine

Actually, Ms M is confirming our suspicion and, at the same time, ruining her guru's scheme: I've emphasised the sentence above in which she clearly says Gonzalez is a white person!

So that says everything about his claims to be Maya and to have been taught Maya spirituality be "his elders". In other words: this is no more than a legend Gonzalez is using to promote his business. Of course 'legend' is just another word for 'bunch of lies'.

And if Gonzalez is "sitting up all night ... doctoring people, counseling them and cleaning up vomit", then perhaps he should hand out less Ayahuasca to his customers, and of course also other less of drugs like the above mentioned wachuma/ huachuma.

I'm going to copy this post to our thread on Gonzalez to make the info on him being a white person available there, too.

this link about Plastic Shamans should be helpful to people like Ms. Muschinski to understand why people care to keep everything in proper order with a peoples culture and traditions !!..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plastic_shaman

from what i see around B.C. where these frauds infiltrated, not one of them did any good because they're all fakes. Counterfeiting and miss-mashing the leaders idea of how it should be makes it even worse.
when you see people believing that they're "reborn again shaman" from the fraud shaman, think of all the harm these people can do, If a persons critical thinking is so far gone that they think that this is acceptable, that person is already deeply into the leaders indoctrination. to many drug ceremonies themselves perhaps??
from talking with participants, the way these people use the sacred medicines amounts to drug abuse and it feeds people addiction problems, and you call this healing?? i believe this has nothing to do with healing but to create the person to be dependent on the next "ceremony, this itself gives a bad meaning to ceremony..
that is why this NAFPS site is so important to the people that don't know the difference, and shoul learn the difference.
the NAFPS team more than excels at doing honest accurate research and I think most of the crew is volunteers at doing this,
there should be an award for the work everyone does on the NAFPS team.

thanx very much to everyone on the NAFPS team for your wonderful great work

In this video http://aptn.ca/news/2013/11/12/plastic-healers/ (http://aptn.ca/news/2013/11/12/plastic-healers/) a survivor describes being given poisonous substances by Erick Gonzalez, he said they would produce a "shamanic death". The other people present were local community members, leaders, people she trusted. She assumed they had gone safely through this and that there was nothing to fear, that she was being initiated in some way.

When she came to after being passed out for awhile, she found that her shirt was torn. No one would tell her what had happened, Erick directed that she would have to remember herself.

Eventually someone told her that she had gone through a full scale freak out. The survivor then felt shame, embarrassed, because this had been viewed by all these people.

The survivor also went through other drug experiences where she and others passed out in comas that could last 8 hours, drenched in sweat, with no awareness of their surroundings or passage of time.

Erick is working to keep his devotees close, he is posting messages especially for the people of Haida Gwaii.

The cactus image seen in this clip is of Wachuma, a powerful hallucinogen.

Devotees are also expressing their loyalty.

Quote
As I sit here, on Haida Gwaii, and reflect upon my gratitude, I feel humble. What you Tata Erick and Nana Heddi, have shared with my family and my people, is an immeasurable gift.

For many years my people have gone without spiritual guidance, other than Christianity that was forced on us since first contact, a little over a hundred years ago. There has been a void of native ceremonial spiritual celebration of life for far too long. In my heart I always knew that there was traditional native ceremonies somewhere out there, which still continued, so that my people could pray in their own way to our creator. When you came to our homeland, I had no idea when I went to my first fire ceremony, that this was the answer to my prayer. You have shared always, generously, your knowledge and wisdom from your lifelong training of spiritual ways. You opened a door for me, that I had been searching for forever. One that will never close. You showed me how to pray, how to connect with our creator Salaana, in a way that our native people have been doing since the beginning of time. This is my right as a daughter of an indigenous nation, Haida. There is no one who can dictate to me about my right to pray in this sacred way. I am proud to call myself a ceremonial person, a medicine person, who walks this red road beside you.

Meanwhile those who disagree with Gonzalez have also been making their opinions known. They say that the foundation of Erick's operation is drug dealing, that people return from EPU sessions in Guatemala as mules for the drug running operation. They say that it doesn't matter what you call the drugs, "medicine" or whatever, they are still dangerous drugs, many of them illegal. Several people say they have lost family members to EPU, divorces can be traced to EPU involvement.

Erick Gonzalez gives poisonous drugs to youth and adults. One of the drugs he gives them is crystallized frog venom smoked in a glass pipe. Some people pass out, and when they come to, they are told that they have gone through a shamanic death, some are also told that they are reincarnated shamans. Some youth have lost their memory for several days while in Guatemala. A 15 year old youth was given their own personal bowl of peyote for use during a ceremony.

Erick tells people that they must follow his directions or bad spirits will get them, their children may get into bad accidents, or they themselves will suffer misfortune.

As I sit at the edge of the world between the water and the land in the mist of spiritual reflections, observing the serenity of the water, the memories are of deep gratitude. Of humble honoring of how blessed some of us have been and continue to receive the blessing from Spirit... And so I think of you, All my Relations, and of this wonderful journey of life through this world....

...To understand "what's it going to take?" and "what do we have to do?" so that our children, grandchildren, and the 7th generation can be grateful for what we have done to gift them a better future.

... Places that became the vortexes for universal and spiritual forces to enter and leave this world.

....Places where the memory of the Lemurian records live through the stone people. Places where the elementals continue to express themselves at their full potential and full force.

-----

Let's see. Mixed together in one message he's got a phrase used among Plains tribes, Iroquois beliefs, Nuage ideas about vortexes, and pagan beliefs about elementals, and finally the old pseudo history nonsense about Lemuria.

I've known Eric for several years, although the last time I saw him was around 1985.  I sad to see him take this path.  Eric was born to Guatemala but moved to LA at an early age.  Culturally he is what is known as "Ladino" in Guatemala.  As a teen he got involved in gangs in Culver City, and his family moved to Humboldt County (Arcata)  to get him in a better environment.  Around 1979 a group visited Humboldt State University who were connected with the Four Arrows movement (Cuatro Fleches).  Among them was Francisco "Tlakaelel" Jimenez from Coacalco, Mx; Jeonimo Camposeco, who was then the Director of the Indian Institute of Guatemala; and Jesus Chacach, village traditional elder from San Jose Poaquil, Guatemala.  Dennis Banks and Oren Lyons were also speaking.  Of utmost importance was the address of Jesus Chacach, who was reporting a horrible incident that had just taken place in Panzos, Guatemala. (Google "Massacre of Panzos" for information.  I believe this was the first time Eric was in contact with Mayan Indians (there was also a marimba group traveling with them.)  To make a long story short, Eric and I ended up traveling to Mexico City with the group on Tlakaelel's invitation to attend a new year ceremony on Coatepec, a mountain that overlooks Mexico City.  It was at Tlakaelel's home in Coacalco that he got his Aztec (Nahuatl, actually) name:  Omeakaehekatl Ome= 1, Akatl = reed, Ehekatl = wind.  That's Eric's birthday according to Tlakaelel's corelation of the Aztec calender with the modern calender.  I was sitting right there when he got it - and there was nothing sacred about it - Francisco was just telling us how Nahuas named their children with the calender date of their birth.  I got one too, but I've forgotten it.

The last time I saw Eric he had a great job with Pacific Gas and Electric at the geysers power plant at Clear Lake, Ca.  He didn't give me any indication then that he was an aspiring witch doctor.  This really surprises me - but I have to chuckle too...

Erick Gonzalez is now using the name Spirit Jaguar on Facebook, and yet another web site is expected soon.

Quote
Contrary to the hype at the end of the year 2012, the Mayan calendar did not come to an end. It is still alive and can serve as a powerful guiding tool for our lives. The sacred Mayan calendar that we follow, called the Cholq’ij, is made up of 260 days (approximately 9 months, which is the gestation period for a human being). Within this calendar there are cycles of 13 days that we call a week, where the vibrations of the days go from 1 to 13, and then start again in a 1 vibration. These vibrations are moving along side of the 20 Daylords, creating the completion of the Cholq’ij: the one cycle of the Mayan calendar in its 260 days (13 x 20).

The importance of these 13-day weeks is that they tell a story of an evolutionary process of humanity and all the beings with which we share this matrix. The matrix is what we call Kaj Uleu, the place between sky and earth, where all of life is manifested. In the same way that we have planetary influences (the basis for astrology), we have frequency, elemental, and cosmic influences, as individuals and a collective, that are reflected through the Mayan Calendar and that create a direct influence on our 7 divine bodies.

One of the things we will be sharing with this Facebook page is this creation story that comes from the spiritual, elemental and cosmic energies of the 13-day Mayan Calendar week. This creation story can be read in the sacred book of the Popul Vuh, as well the oral traditional stories that go with the ceremonies of the Maya. The Mayan Aj Q’ijab, shamans, the Daykeepers, they know this story. We want to share it in this way to expand this knowledge into the consciousness of humanity.

On the one vibration of each 13-day week we will be sharing a brief overview of the energies at play for that week, in which we can attune ourselves for a more cohesive and harmonized life. Each week initiates with a 1 energy and moves through an evolutionary process to reach its full potential in the frequency of 13. The frequencies move through the 20 Daylords. The week describes not only part of a story of creation, but the story unfolding into a future that we can participate in. This smaller cycle of the 13-day weeks and the journey of the Daylords gives us an episode of an unfolding, everlasting story of which we are part (we are the actors in co-creating our future).

In the same way that when we look at the stars we are looking at the past, there is also a future in which the gear of the 13-day week is part of an everlasting clock. This clock has some degree of predictability in which we can plan and participate with, and align ourselves with, to be in harmonious frequency.

This sharing will be brief and touch on the important aspects of the week. It is in essence a mini “forecast” using the Mayan Calendar. For a deeper sharing, we encourage people to get a personal reading and/or support our teachings in multiple forms that can be accessed on our website (coming soon!): www.spiritjaguar.com. You can also reach us here on this page and we can send you more information.
Many blessings and may this sharing serve humanity in its evolution!

Love from Erick and Heddi

The drug intensives that Erick Gonzalez holds in Guatemala and elsewhere are very dangerous. Participants have had bad panic attacks, believing that they are having heart attacks. Amanita is used extensively, in some cases people are instructed to go to the altar 4 times and drink a cup of amanita brew each time. Some people have gone into psychotic rages caused by the various drugs Erick has them take.

Survivors say that Erick is just a bad drug dealer who disguises himself as a "medicine man" and who exploits indigenous peoples as a way to further his own agendas. Erick claims he has special powers, but actually he has devotees spy on each other, he then uses this information to to appear psychic.

Erick keeps his people very busy. They have to recruit youth, access funding, check on people who may be leaving the group, research fellow members, hold ceremonial fires, and serve Erick.

Erick has ceremonies held where he is a guest, but he acts like an invader. He keeps some of what he is actually doing as a secret, this spreads fear. Erick invokes deities at the fires, people don't know what all is happening. He seems to want to keep people guessing and afraid.

Erick has people name out loud various ancestors and sacred places, in some places this goes against cultural norms, people do not want the ancestors stirred up. Erick does not behave respectfully. He behaves as if he is more up to evil witchcraft style business than anything healthy.

Erick has people feed blood, animal and human, to fires, this is very controversial, he does this even in locations where this specifically is not okay.

He is changing his marketing, claiming that he is Spirit Jaguar. Teachings that used to be used as bait and dragged out over a four year span of time are now sold as much more quickly available. His followers continue to believe that they must protect him, and that the poisonous drugs Erick gives them are actually  "medicines".

Tat Erick has gone through an intensive ceremonial life with many initiations in various native traditions to receive many ceremonial bundles and to now hold the elemental and spiritual forces at the sanctuaries that he has co-created at Deer Mountain (north of Mt Shasta) and Patziapa (Lake Atitlan, Guatemala). As a hollow bone or spiritual medium, the elemental, natural, supernatural forces come through him, and for each individual Erick can show them the door to walk through and experience a true spiritual experience for themselves, and on their own terms. As the conductor of the ceremonies, Erick continues to fulfill the "door in, door out" concept that all goes well. So that from the moment of the initial thought to performing the ceremony, to the door out when people take responsibility for the instructions given, he is responsible for the wellness of the individual (provided they follow the instructions given).

Here are examples of what Erick has taken from the Haida people, these photos from his FB. Haida community members recognize these pieces, know the stories behind them. Erick has people bring precious items to the altar, the altar is actually him, he goes home with everything he has manipulated out of his devotees.

Another image from Erick's FB, more of the treasures he has taken from Haida people. These are very valuable pieces of art, passed down to family members as heirlooms. They are Haida argillite carvings. Argillite is very important to the Haida people, there is only one quarry site on Haida Gwaii. The pipe seen in the photo is a panel pipe, which are more difficult to carve.

This is a public statement from Albert Joseph Brooks. Photos that include him are on the spiritjaguar.com (http://spiritjaguar.com) site, posted without his permission. Erick Gonzalez has also been notified of this via email.

This is Albert Joseph Brooks.
Spokesman for the Tsimshian and Gitsan  people..
I do not agree with what you (Erick Gonzalez) do and I want my picture taken off your Spirit Jaguar web site, you can see my face between your self and Babs Stevens..
I want it removed immediately if not sooner.

At an event in Canada, Erick Gonzalez rolled a bunch of raisins in his hand and then had participants kiss it, he said this object would be used in the ceremony.

Afterwards Erick asked everyone to pay $100. One person told Erick to back off, that there should never be a charge for ceremonies, and this person left.

Later it was learned that Erick had already charged $10,000 for that fire ceremony.

Just found another photo, emailed Erick about this one too, they both need to be taken down right away. As Autumn points out, it it clear that Mr. Brooks wanted nothing to do with Gonzalez at all.

In the photo gallery http://www.spiritjaguar.com/photo-gallery/ (http://www.spiritjaguar.com/photo-gallery/) about 19 of the photos include identifiable people other than Erick Gonzalez and his crew. This photo of Erick talking to young children especially bothers me. http://www.spiritjaguar.com/photo-gallery/6wob05a35bjm4g7prku5n0h8z19emh (http://www.spiritjaguar.com/photo-gallery/6wob05a35bjm4g7prku5n0h8z19emh). About 17 kids, many could be identified in this photo. Does he have specific parental permission for this? Will the children themselves want this photo up when they are older?

Many people don't have computers, are not online, and may not know Erick is using their photos in this manner.

Some former followers who want photos taken down may not be able to contact Erick directly, Erick has many people confused and manipulated, they believe he has powers, they believe they may not be safe if they contact him.

If it is dependant on you then why do you  choose to continously  exploite elders, children, women and unsupecting bystanders to promote your Business? You are monopolizing the images of people who pray and participate based on a purpose. It is repulsive to exploite the innocent and old , as well as the caregivers of our community , the women and men. This behaviour demonstrates how you mislead participants in your motives . You can't authentic your business by exploiting our relatives.

The way Erick's people talk about drugs on Facebook is interesting, for instance a follower posted a photo of peyote, many people then lined up in comments to rave about peyote in a manner that sounded completely like recreational drug use.

Below is the waiver Erick Gonzalez and his spiritual business Earth Peoples
United expect innocent participants to sign. Notice it instructs you to get traveller’s
accident insurance but fails to inform you that medical insurance does not cover
experimental sacred medicine events.
In fact if you are harmed by such an event and need medical attention , your
medical insurance will be void as there is no medical travel insurance that will
protect you for this kind of self harm or risk.
What kind of spiritual human would ask you to sign such a waiver and expect you
to  feel cared for? What is the purpose of risking your health, mind and life
for the security of this business?
It even states how  there is no medical help or psychotherapy care available to
you ,yet in their Ceremonial Guidelines you are asked to obey and follow “TaTa
Erick” and to seek help from the group.

At this event participants were poisoned by copious amounts of a thick brew of
amanita  poisonous mushroom .”No one knew this was the sacred medicine of
choice prior to signing his waiver”.
Participant's fell into a toxic coma , next day they
were  told that they were learning the soma way of the soma medicine.

Do not sign waivers like these and do not fall for spiritual businesses that cover
their own asses at the cost of their own followers!

Ceremonial Guidelines

1. Tata Erick is our guide in Guatemala and we need to trust and follow any instructions he may give.
2. The Sacred Fire – around the Fire, you have entered Sacred Space and  need to be conscious of:
Listen to, and follow the instructions of the spiritual leader. One should not make assumptions that the way it has been done in the past or the way it has been done in other ceremonies, is the way it will be done this time. Trust the spiritual leader and the process.
Only put the offerings you are given into the fire.
How you walk and step around the fire is important. Sink-in and feel the energies.  It is not appropriate to kick at the Fire or disrespect it.
3. The Ceremony – Every action and word is a part of the ceremony. As we are laying the materials for the fire, we are making an offering to spirit and the whole process becomes an offering in which you are participating. During ceremony, if a request is made of you, do it well with beauty & love.                                                                                                                                           If you choose to participate in ceremony, honor the sacred space and keep the circle strong by maintaining your presence until it completes.
4. Be on time.  Do not make the Elders wait.  Everyone serves the group by being attentive and focusing their energies so that things move in a sacred rhythm and flow.
5. Confidentiality. Respect others by keeping what they share about their personal affairs confidential.
6. Take care of yourself and be responsible for your own well-being.  Do not do anything that puts your emotional, physical or spiritual well-being at risk. Pace yourself and be your own monitor.  Seek out someone from the designated support team, as needed.
7. Be in integrity. Be respectful of others and listen to all that is being offered.  Communicate consciously and be aware of the impact your words and actions have on others.  Be aware when others are speaking and do not interrupt.
8. Honor and respect our indigenous brothers, sisters and Elders. It is traditional that the Elders eat first. Around the sacred fire or meals, be attentive, consider offering your chair or serving a meal or beverage.
9. Let us know in advance if you are not able to hold these guidelines.

Matiox Chawe. :'(

here is a post taken from Huna is not Hawaiian  f-book site,

this sentence describes exactly what erick gonzalez did to some haida people,

We tend to think of this as cultural exchange when really, it’s no more an exchange than pressuring your neighbors to adopt your ideals while stealing their family heirlooms.

- See more at:

http://goodmenproject.com/ethics-values/hesaid-whats-the-difference-between-cultural-exchange-and-cultural-appropriation/#sthash.6C9jZkzb.dpuf

he posted pictures of what he suggested to some Haida and some white people to bring to his "altar" so their prayers would be recognized and answered more easily by the "spirit world". This just shows and proves that the Alter is himself, since he hi grades and takes the items he likes best for decorating his home, or mayby his home is the "altar"now and everyone that's getting antsy thinking they need another drug fix will go there and for the Mish-Mash drug ceremony he sells.

i think people should know about people like erick gonzalez that cross boundaries and have absolutely no respect for other peoples cultures, traditions and medicines especially when he sees a chance to make money for himself from stealing them and making a mish mash of his own version of healing or spirituality, it looks like some people are totally aware of this fraud but the lure and personal need of the hallucinogenics is stronger than the common sense needed to free themselves, along with the already embedded commands that trigger them to stay with him ..this must be a tough situation to end up in.

Gonzalez's spiritual opportunities continue into 2014. 20 people x $400=$8,000 and this is just one of the "gifts"! of his ceremonial fork it over gatherings. Exploiting innocent participants in believing you must pay to be seduced and drugged by Gonzalez whom portrays himself over and over to be an  authentic "healer", how tragic to fall victim to this organized group and their "spiritual leader" who have refined a premeditated scheme to extract continuously from people who have not yet heard of Erick's ugly and damaging  track record in the North. He and his helpers at  Earth's People United conveniently continue their crimes against humanity by "keeping their secrets of desecration to others", How long will it take before US citizens find out the truth of these perpetrators?

More ceremony selling from Gonzalez. He also can't keep straight which tribe his group is play acting at, since he tosses in Navajo phrases and ceremony buyers are "integrated in tipis."

That makes it sound like they're being woven into the tipi hide. ::) And of course there's vortexes and stargates and shifting frequencies...

The energy of B'atz is that of the threads of life, the cords of energy that flow from our umbilical cords and connect us to all of our past and future generations, with 8 being the number of completion. It is a powerful opportunity to join together around the Grandfather Fire to weave our thoughts, prayers, intentions, and actions together for a better future on our Mother Earth. We offer generous amounts of ceremonial gifts to the fire in gratitude and payment for our lives and the spiritual and elemental forces that guide and protect us....

I sure wish USA authorities would shut Erick Gonzalez down, make it near impossible for him to run drugs and hook recruits.

In this video Plastic Healers http://aptn.ca/news/2013/11/12/plastic-healers/ (http://aptn.ca/news/2013/11/12/plastic-healers/) one of his long time devotees claims that public schools are bad residential schools and that hospitals are part of the colonial systems. She sounds like she is repeating what Erick says. This has been offensive to many people who say that current public schools are not at all like past residential schools - that they want their own kids to of course have access to good public education and medical care.

Erick in an audio intro to their "crystallizing your vision" course sarcastically mocks the idea of people wanting jobs, to pay their bills, get a car, finish school. He sounds to me like a bully when he does this. According to Erick, those type of goals are somehow stupid, we should instead have goals like "make the world better".  All while Erick rakes in $ and cultural treasures. And brags about his own various vehicles.

This all got me to thinking that Erick is targeting white hippies along with people who haven't heard any kind of counter culture message before. What Erick teaches is not new, it is just a jumbled mess arbitrarily organized in a way to keep people occupied. The "mayan calendar", "nine fires", ceremonies, and retreats are all designed to hook people's attention and keep them occupied.  The drug focus keeps people occupied too.

Their web site http://www.spiritjaguar.com/private-sessions/ (http://www.spiritjaguar.com/private-sessions/), Heddi's art work http://www.redbubble.com/people/heddil?ref=breadcrumb (http://www.redbubble.com/people/heddil?ref=breadcrumb), and photos of their ceremonies also makes me think of white hippie types (I used to be one myself), people drawn to the counter culture message and drawn to the "color".

All us past, current, and aspirational hippie types would be far better off putting in some time with actual community work, like work at a food bank or soup kitchen, rather than dancing to Erick's tune.

I wonder why they use terms like "Aho!". I also wonder about Heddi's art, for instance Eagle & Buffalo http://www.redbubble.com/people/heddil/works/11003979-eagle-and-buffalo (http://www.redbubble.com/people/heddil/works/11003979-eagle-and-buffalo) , Sacred Medicines http://www.redbubble.com/people/heddil/works/10988920-sacred-medicines (http://www.redbubble.com/people/heddil/works/10988920-sacred-medicines), Water Kachina http://www.redbubble.com/people/heddil/works/10989120-water-kachina (http://www.redbubble.com/people/heddil/works/10989120-water-kachina), and others. Why are they claiming that Erick is a "hollow bone" and that they teach how to "walk the beauty way"?

The planned 8th Annual Wisdom Keeper and Youth Council for this August has been postponed. Hopefully this will allow more time for the word to spread on how dangerous Erick Gonzalez is.

Some youth that have been recruited for events in the past learned to their dismay that drugs are used, and it was not fun for them to be around drugged, unsafe adults.

From a recent newsletter:

Quote
Leading up to and during the recent summer solstice ceremonies at Deer Mountain, powerful reflections came to show us that we were not prepared with what we have to work with this year to be able to create and offer the Wisdom Keeper & Youth Council in a balanced way. Following the decision by our Spiritual Leader Tat Erick Gonzalez, we have decided to postpone the 8th Annual Wisdom Keeper and Youth Council for this year, originally scheduled for August 7-12th, 2014 so that the energies may be honed, harvested and effectively directed for a more potent resurgence next year with new collaborations and weavings more firmly in place. As part of this decision, EPU has also chosen to enter an incubation phase and tend to hearth and home, community development, and tending to the land at Deer Mountain as directed by spirit and listening to our hearts.

Erick instructs his devotees to get tattoos, he says this will help spirits recognize them as medicine people.

Tattoos can include designs of peyote buttons on their ankles, chin tats, elaborate tats on their backs.

I am not sure in my remember, do they use amanita, in German Fliegenpilz (Muscaria amanita)?
The different psychedelic contains has varying higher / deeper concentration depending by the time where the mushroom was collected and how long it has dehydrated. It needs a lot knowledge about how to use this medicine. If Gonzo do not know enough it seems to me he don´t know what reaction could come up .... or  is he offering a new experiment .... with adults and with youth? Youth are not just "small" adults, their physiologies are working and reacting different than those of adults, ... also depending of their age, their weight and constitution.

What must happen that those frauds wish to stop making experiments (... too often they are not more than experiments... ) with natural and chemical drugs, those frauds who tell people they are healer ....

Yes, Erick does give his people amanita, along with other drugs.

Quote
One of us who experienced erick's amanita medicine events described the results to our local chief of staff at our hospital and they said we were having a full blown poisonous reaction and that we were damaging our livers and do not know what we are damaging. The one who reported this experienced severe memory loss and extreme arthritic attacks that lasted for 3 years.  Erik is very dangerous and we want people to know that he doesn't care about you, even if you die, people need to know that he is greedy to any extent and will create poverty in your family, and will not give up to continue to get more.

Erick uses his followers to transport and distribute illegal drugs. He is a destructive cult leader who abuses his followers, feeds them dangerous addictive substances, and uses them to finance his income.

The way they describe the experiences I think there must be people who died. I cannot imagine that everyody survived this coctail of natural and chemical drugs.
Had someone died, what happens with him? Did this person vanished, another who was missed or not missed by his family, till today didn´t come back? What about those who are strung - out. Did someone asked for these people, is there someone who missed them?

The stories throughout this thread are from survivors, they survived their experiences.

Because Erick Gonzalez practices shunning - he will all of a sudden, without explanation, cut some followers off, he will tell everyone else to shun that person - it is not known what has happened to all members. We know for certain that some people have suffered quite a bit,  we know this from their testimonies.  But there may be others that dropped out of sight.

If someone is arrested for running Erick's drugs, would Erick bail them out of jail? If someone dies because of Erick's behavior, would he accept responsibility? Most likely he would not accept responsibility, he certainly is not behaving responsibly now.

Sturmboe brings up a good point - people in these situations can be harmed, they can disappear, they can die. Family members and friends may not know what happened to them. Also, I don't know that one adult could force another adult to not fall prey to predators like Erick Gonzalez. We all do the best we can, we work to tell our experiences, to research the frauds - but we can't force people to get free.

Hopefully Erick will be eventually held accountable , hopefully before someone dies.

What is about those people when the family got no more interest in their relatives,
given up, "forgotten"...deported,  those afflicted people are vanished if noone is asking for them, no matter if they still live or in the grave. Erick Gonzales can have an easyly unfair game to manipulate.

Quote:
"Also, I don't know that one adult could force another adult to not fall prey to predators like Erick Gonzalez."
I think this is possible by a way is used by cults or satanic cults, a horrible work

There are some other points:

If someone take various drugs the reaction in the body cannot be controlled anymore, I can imagine. In an emergency hospitalization the medicals has no other possibilities than to wait, a horrible time just to wait and watch what will happen with the patient, maybe he will survive, maybe not. A helpless situation, and often they got no words to explain this to the family.

The treatments are different from the kind of drugs. The medicaments to stabilize a patient during his detoxication and deprivation depends of what kind of drug, how much and how long someone is abusing and also by his condition. In some situation you cannot make a totally detoxification, if you would do this, the patient will collapse and die. So you must substitute till there is the right time to change the treatment.

The best way to induce an adaquate therapy would be, someone tells what was used, all the drugs in which form, combination and amount, for e.g. as pill, tea, alcoholic etc., was it for drinking, for injection (intravenous, intramuscular), inhale (water, fire).
By some signals the medicals can see a bit from the patients reaction, and if he can talk by his information. Other thing just Erick Gonzales can tell for he is the only one who knows the recipes he create. But I am sure he never will talk, the risk of accusation is actually ( I don´t know what is the law).
I am sure, he don´t want to be responsible. He don´t want to announce and clarify what is behind his fraudulant secret staging, to clarify his mysticism would deprive him from his power about people.

I received an account saying that there are heavily armed guards at Gonzalez's retreats. In the US or Canada, that'd be a sign of intimidation, esp of protesters, or to make sure members of a cult stay in line and don't ask questions.

But in Guatemala, the reasons for them are likely security against a lot of dangerous crime. If you've never traveled down there, it can be a shock to see armed guards even at fast food places, to keep them from being robbed. Recall also those immigrant children who fled to the US from the violence.

Most of Central America is a very dangerous place right now. Gonzalez's retreats are actually in one of the wealthier tourist areas, near Santiago. These are the two spirchul tourism junkets he's offering.

-----
Option #1: Make your own arrangements to be at the Tiosh Abaj Hotel in Santiago at Lake Atitlan on Sat Oct 11th at 9 am, and your own departure from the Tiosh Abaj Hotel on Fri Oct 17th between 2-4 pm in Santiago Atitlan.  Cost:  $1750

Option #2:  All-inclusive arrangements from the time you arrive in Guatemala City to the time you leave (flying into Guatemala City on Thurs Oct 9th and depart on Sun Oct 19th): shuttle to hotel in Guatemala City, hotel in Guatemala City the night of arrival, private collective shuttle to Santiago Atitlan from Guatemala City on Fri Oct 10th, private collective shuttle from Santiago to Antigua on Sat Oct 18th, hotel room in Antigua, shuttle to Guatemala City, major meals while traveling.   Cost:  $2250

We encourage donations to the Medicine People who will be sharing with us.
NOT Included in your experience: airfare, shopping expenses, gifts for the elders, tips you may want to offer staff, excursions you choose to take outside the planned group activities.

------

A five night retreat for 1750, or nine nights for 2250, plus airfare etc. These junkets cost more than someone making minimum wage makes in two months, or that most Guatemalans make in a year. Little wonder that some would see just fat tempting targets for robbery, or at least resentment and panhandling.
This is where they stay at, not exactly austere.
http://www.tioshabaj.com/en/services/special-events.html

But almost all of the money goes to Gonzalez. The hotel lists their rooms at $57 a night (a little high for Latin America.) So that means almost 80% of it goes to him. As their own ad says, any elders will be asking for donations and gifts.

Whether these are actual elders or medicine people isn't known. They are not named. It could be the standard tourist thing. I took my dad to a senior's tour of Copper Canyon when he was 82. He'd always wanted to see it. A Tarahumara elder gave a presentation on her culture and then counseled anyone who asked. These could be nothing more than that. Or it could be Gonzalez and his blond wife presenting themselves as medicine people yet again.

So I'd say both the local Mayans invited and the armed guards are there to maintain illusions for this spirchul junket.

“A Loving Donation?”

Below is a recent quote from an TJU follower who was devoted to Erick until excommunicated.

“Yes his dealings around money were questionable and not in alignment with what he said.”

“The last community fire I sponsored for him yielded over $6000 and the conversation before was that everyone involved should be compensated .. They gave me $200. I did have some other conversations that didn't lead anywhere except the parrot feather story about doing it all without expectation of return.”

This is a quote from a  ex, 8 year follower who was excommunicated from Erick and TJU Earth People's United. Hundreds and thousands were paid to Erick for individual and community fire events . Loving donations as described in IRS terms are suppose to reflect a token gratitude of the spiritual service done.

When a gift or cash is given a tax receipt reflecting the value is to be issued to the donor. This is the proper legal procedure for “loving donation”when operating a non profit church.
I wonder if Erick Gonzalez (leader of his own non -profit church) made tax receipts to all the generous  participants he solicited for valuable treasures to be placed on  his “sacred altars”?

Native Haida carvings of gold and silver jewellery, Argillite stone sculptures,Haida cedar weavings and carvings ,Haida hats, expensive Haida ceremonial blankets, family  heirloom  possessions,on and on it goes. Hopefully he has it all insured from thieves like himself!

I would like to see what he deems worthy of reporting after amassing so much wealth.

How demoralizing to his participants to be subjected to such greed and spiritual abuse. The IRS needs to investigate how Erick's tax free trail to the North exploited innocent people, native and non native, and he   freely determined that amanita mushroom , a seriously poison substance, was now a traditional Haida medicine for his participants to consume regularly.

How tragic for non profit church leaders in the USA  to have this kind of disgrace come to their association.

501(c)(3) nonprofits must abide by many IRS rules in exchange for their considerable tax advantages. The most common rules have to do with disclosures to donors. Here is a list of the most important laws governing this aspect of your fundraising endeavors.

Quid Pro Quo Contributions of More Than $75
If your organization receives a contribution of more than $75 and then gives the donor goods or services in return (sometimes called a "gift premium"), you must provide the donor with a written disclosure statement that includes the following:
a statement that the donor can deduct, for tax purposes, only the difference between the value of the donation and the value of any gift premium received.
A good faith estimate of the fair market value of the gift premium given to the donor in exchange for the donation. You may use any reasonable method to estimate the fair market value of the premium, as long as you do so in good faith.

Contributions of $250 or More
Donors who give your organization $250 or more may deduct a charitable contribution of that amount only if they have a written acknowledgment of their donation from your nonprofit. It is the donor's legal responsibility to ask for such an acknowledgment, but wise nonprofits will always provide the statement to its donors.
Although the statement is not due until the donor has to file his/her tax return, good practice is that you provide the statement at the time of your "thank you" for the donation. And that acknowledgment should be sent promptly after receipt of the contribution.

Your statement should contain at least:

a statement of the amount of the donation (if cash)
a description of the property donated (if property)
a statement of whether your organization provided goods and services in return for the donation (a good faith estimate of the value of the goods/services provided must be included if goods or services were indeed provided in return for the donation)

This information must be provided in writing, at the time of the solicitation or when the payment is received, and in a way that will come to the attention of the donor.

Excess benefit transactions. In cases where an IRC
section 501(c)(3) organization provides an excess economic
benefit to an insider, both the organization and
the insider have engaged in an excess benefit transaction.

The IRS may impose an excise tax on any insider who
improperly benefits from an excess benefit transaction,
as well as on organization managers who participate in
such a transaction knowing that it is improper. An insider
who benefits from an excess benefit transaction is also
required to return the excess benefits to the organization.
Detailed rules on excess benefit transactions are
contained in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 26,

Funny there is nothing reported for 2007, that was a busy year for this non profit church soliciting participants to fund TJU's spirit of the water event in Guatemala at his hotel plus Erick's busy schedule on Haida Gwaii doing 9 fires training and drug retreats at Mount Moresby Intensives on behalf of Nygstle Society enlistment  and Gwaii Trust funding. Must of did pretty good there for goodies and cash. According to Gwaii Trust archival proposals intensives were receiving at least $10,000. each and that doesn't include the gifts solicited.

If I want to see the 990 of a particular nonprofit, how do I do it?

You can get a copy of a nonprofit's Form 990 from the IRS, but you can also view it at the charity you are interested in. Nonprofit organizations are required to make their 990 and their exemption application available for public inspection without charge at their regional and district offices during regular business hours.
Many nonprofits now make 990s available for viewing on their websites. You can also view them at Guidestar, an organization that compiles information about nonprofits.
Questions
• Should payments commonly referred to as “love offerings” be taxable to the recipient
when a religious organization facilitates their collection?
n Should the tax treatment vary based on whether or not the recipient is a “disqualified
person”?
Recommendations
Religious and Charitable Organizations
1. Religious organizations should carefully assess their roles in facilitating payments by
individuals to or for the benefit of leaders of their organizations and in reporting taxable
payments to the leaders of their organizations, to help ensure that their leaders
are knowledgeable about, and compliant with, applicable tax law.
When afforded the opportunity, religious organizations should provide the IRS and/
or the Treasury Department with numerous real-world examples of circumstances in
which payments commonly referred to as “love offerings” are made, received, and
distributed.
The Giving Public
1. Donors should carefully evaluate the tax treatment of payments made to or for the
benefit of individual religious leaders. Donors should ensure that amounts deducted
as charitable contributions on their individual tax returns qualify for such treatment

Preparing for divinations:

A divination lasts one hour, and can be done in person or over the phone. In our tradition, 4 gifts are given to our medicine people for ceremonies and divinations. By offering these gifts we connect with our hearts and the love that is being shared between us in ceremony. We extend out something of value in recognition of what we hope to receive. In this way we stay in good relations with all life, giving and receiving.

1. Something from the plant kingdom
2. Something from the mineral kingdom
3. Something from the animal kingdom
4. Something that nurtures and helps care for the medicine person's family (a financial offering may count as this gift, or you may want to give something in addition)

Divinations are $125, which can be sent through PayPal if you want to do that ahead of time, or you can bring cash with your gifts.

Quote
We will also need to get people's birthdate, time, and place so we can prepare a chart for their divination.

http://www.spiritjaguar.com/preparing-for-divinations (http://www.spiritjaguar.com/preparing-for-divinations)

Please don't give Erick Gonzalez and Heddi Neale your birthdates. They are drug dealing, cult leading, frauds - I would not trust them with names and birth dates, identify theft would be a possibility.

Don't give them any money or time.

that is a very good point to be extra careful of, do not give them any information about anything,
erick gonzalez and his crew mimic real tribal ceremonial people that do things for people and cultures and want no claim to fame or recognition for what they do, on the other hand erik gonzalez makes his devotees believe how great he is and constantly praise him, just like a true cult leader would and do.
erick and his drug dealing cult post peoples pictures of elders, people of high rank on the internet to make himself look legit, some of the worse things erick gonzalez does is post pictures of children and quotes from youth taken right after a drug "intensive"
erick gonzalez's drug intensives cause more addictions problems with those already into the drug scene. the copious amounts he uses amounts to nothing but recreational drug abuse,
with erick leaving bags full of the hallucinogenic & poisonous substances does nothing but promote drug dependency in those already inclined,  and erick is the supplier of the drugs the participants are led to believe are "spiritual"

this cartoon was made for frauds like erick gonzalez .  and is fitting  for ericks victims that he made into self made ready mix "medicine people" and "shaman". made to believe while under the influence  of hallucinogenic and poisonous substances
I believe erick uses large dangerous doses of the "medicines" because people are more suggestible while high on his drugs. hallucinogenics are especially strong drugs when used this way, these drugs are illegal in many countries , the :medicines" have their own territory, where the medicine stops growing is the end of its territory,
I wonder if erick gonzalez had permission to do what he did to people in the USA and the Haida on Haida Gwaii, somehow i seriously doubt he had proper permission, he did this on his own as a money making venture, possibly with a few other frauds so they can cash in too.
actually there is a large group of frauds that the message in this cartoon apply to
the comments posted under the cartoon are also well worth reading too...

this cartoon was made for frauds like erick gonzalez .  and is fitting  for ericks victims that he made into self made ready mix "medicine people" and "shaman". made to believe while under the influence  of hallucinogenic and poisonous substances
I believe erick uses large dangerous doses of the "medicines" because people are more suggestible while high on his drugs. hallucinogenics are especially strong drugs when used this way, these drugs are illegal in many countries , the :medicines" have their own territory, where the medicine stops growing is the end of its territory,
I wonder if erick gonzalez had permission to do what he did to people in the USA and the Haida on Haida Gwaii, somehow i seriously doubt he had proper permission, he did this on his own as a money making venture, possibly with a few other frauds so they can cash in too.
actually there is a large group of frauds that are selling ceremony that the message in this cartoon apply to.

the comments posted under the cartoon are also well worth reading too...

Erick's Guatemala place is not safe. It is run down, termites are eating their way through the wood structures, people wake up with wood dust all over them from the termites eating the ceiling. An armed guard is used along with bribes to get people there and back. This is not a relaxing, safe resort.

Once when a group of people wanted to go into the local village to shop, Erick first whipped them with stinging nettles, before he would let them go, supposedly to remind them to behave a particular way.

Erick runs people through incredibly debilitating routines, they have to kneel for hours, sometimes all night, often without being allowed to take a bathroom break. He keeps people very busy and exhausted, and often drugged.

People who realize they need to get out of there are not helped, in fact Erick will go out of his way to be bitchy and mean to them.

Erick brings Americans to Guatemala, treats his American followers as servants, perhaps as a way to make himself look more powerful to the local community.

Hosting Erick elsewhere in the world is not any easier either. You end up doing their errands while Erick and Heddi rack up a long distance phone bill, eat your food, are sheltered and transported. They work their followers hard and then are rude in response.

Because of Erick Gonzalez, many of his followers now believe they are shamans and medicine people. Some in Canada have obtained funding to build a ceremonial longhouse in Skidegate, this is directly by Erick's instructions. Erick Gonzalez told Babs Stevens that he wants a longhouse, he instructed her as to specific location and siting, Babs is his tool and does what he says.

Fortunately the plans for a Gonzalez led longhouse in Haida Gwaii have fallen through. Locals say they don't want to live near witchcraft.

Some people mistakenly believe that this is all under the umbrella of a Native American Church. Erick Gonzalez's group is not NAC, he is not a member. His drug dealing in US and Canada is illegal.

This post from earlier in thread is important:

Quote

For more information on NAC read https://turtletalk.files.wordpress.com/2014/08/national-council-of-native-american-churches-et-al-amicus-brief.pdf (https://turtletalk.files.wordpress.com/2014/08/national-council-of-native-american-churches-et-al-amicus-brief.pdf) these are friend of court briefs by true Native American Church groups, with explanations as to what is true and what is fake, concerning here yet another fake group yet still applicable to EG.

Multiple sources say that Erick's events are drug parties, unsafe ones that at times involve minors.

Turns out some followers believe that they are NAC members. Erick has led them to believe that he is a NAC member. Some followers  who do peyote themed beadwork claim they are NAC.

Erick Gonzalez is lying. What a surprise.

When Erick and Heddi lure devotees to their Patziapa Center in Guatemala http://www.spiritjaguar.com/patziapa-center/ (http://www.spiritjaguar.com/patziapa-center/) do they include this info:

Quote
Penalties for possessing, using, or trafficking in illegal drugs in Guatemala’s are severe, and convicted offenders can expect long jail sentences and heavy fines.  In Guatemala, driving under the influence could land you immediately in jail.  If you break local laws in Guatemala, your U.S. passport won’t help you avoid arrest or prosecution.

Quote
Guatemala is a country with many different and firmly held local beliefs and customs. Particularly in small villages, residents are often wary and suspicious of outsiders. In the past, Guatemalan citizens have been lynched for suspicion of child abduction, so we recommend that U.S. citizens keep a distance from local children, and refrain from actions that could fuel such suspicions.

Quote
Avoid close contact with local children, including taking photographs, especially in rural areas. Such contact can be viewed with deep suspicion and may provoke panic and violence.

Erick Gonzalez needs to return everything he has taken from the Haida Gwaii people.

He needs to stop displaying all the gifts like trophies on his walls and shelves. Erick used manipulation to obtain these items, he needs to give them back.

Surely he and his wife Heddi Neale can find a gracious way to do so. They could thank people for the loans of precious items and say that they now know that it is time for the gifts to be returned to their rightful owners - the people of Haida Gwaii.

Quote
The other significant concern being communicated by community members is that traditional Haida gifts are being given to the groups founder, Erick Gonzalez. These culturally relevant gifts are provided in addition to a fee that is required to attend the ceremonies and take part in the spiritual gatherings. There is concern among community members that the motivation for accepting these gifts is for the monitory value of the gifts instead of the cultural significance that is usually associated to gift giving in the Haida Nation. The tradition of gifting is an widely accepted practice and is not suggested that it should be stopped. What is of concern is the expectation of receiving a gift. Any group or individual that expresses an expectation to receive a gift, should be questioned in regards to their motives.

Erick Gonzalez and Heddi Neale also of course need to stop running illegal drugs. These drugs are not being used as Erick claims as "sacred medicines", nor is Erick's group part of the actual Native American Church.

Quote
One of the concerns raised by the public is that the group is encouraging and facilitating the use of hallucinogenic drugs during the religious ceremonies in order to experience a spiritual state of mind. It has been reported that drugs such as peyote, mescaline and ayahuasca are being used during these ceremonies to elicit hallucinations that are then being interpreted as spiritual or ceremonial. It should be noted that mescaline in any form is a controlled substance and is listed in the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) under Schedule III of the act. As such possession or distribution of mescaline would contravene the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and could result in charges under the CDSA.
The Masset RCMP is urging the public to think critically about the use of these so called "healing" or "spiritual" drugs. Not only are some of these substances illegal in Canada but it has been reported that they can produce negative long term side affects to a persons health and well being. These side affects have been described as insomnia, anxiety, emotional instability and headaches which can also be accompanied by various other physiological reactions. The illegal nature of these hallucinogenic drugs and their health risks should be taken very seriously if considering their use.

http://www.thenorthernview.com/news/169704226.html?mobile=true (http://www.thenorthernview.com/news/169704226.html?mobile=true)

Erick and Heddi seriously endanger their followers (including youth) with health and legal risks. Erick and Heddi specifically endanger the people of Haida Gwaii. Just like Chuck and Lency Spezzano of Psychology of Vision (except for the illegal drug part), Erick's group has targeted Haida Gwaii - providing drugs, taking precious cultural items, and altogether screwing the people over.

I've considered a few times starting an independent thread here on Babs Stevens, the Chief Administrative Officer of the Skidegate Band Council, Haida Gwaii. Because she looks to be the main reason Haida Gwaii is being hammered on by both Chuck Spezzano and Erick Gonzalez. But I think she ultimately is a victim. Ms. Stevens has been thoroughly hooked by these two major frauds and she has enlisted many many others to be hooked also.

Ideally she would be a strong voice in protecting the Skidegate Band, working to stop the flow of illegal drugs altogether. She would advocate for the return of all cultural items from Erick Gonzalez. By removing herself from all this negative influence, she would be able to truly strengthen and heal herself so she can be better at her job of public service.

I myself want my own public officials to be sober, service minded, and clear headed. I want them free of undue influence.

Ideally wouldn't that be the logical critical thought procedure but Skidegate is literally held captive by
the imbedded agenda of new age leaders taking what they want and justifying it no matter what the feedback is. How did a band manager self promote themselves into the village healer and change their position to CEO. Sounds like the ladder of success instilled by POV Leadership roles.

No one asked Babs to do this in her job description and no one was asked if they wanted to be saved by her. Testimonies of POV trainers state that they represent their people and nation. That is not true. These roles are imposed on our  FN villages and their families by this POV trainer.
Babs has direct access to personal information of each family member of Skidegate , she uses this information to manipulate members into the "shut -up or give in" pressure of abiding to her ways or you  get nothing. She has exploited her position of power and continues to do so.

Chuck Spezzano Psychology of Vision business owner has taught the type of leadership that ruins people, he has taught his advanced trainers to lead the way by justifying themselves in their taking.
Why does the so called self appointed head of Skidegate not care about Gonzalez poisoning their people and island residents with ammanita mushrooms? Why does this self appointed leader who is Haida not care about peyote being generously distributed to youth for addictive purposes?
If anything Babs has taken great strides to damage and silence victims from having a voice.
It is sad that the members of Skidegate and residents of Haida Gwaii are subjected to the continuous abuse that affects so much that we care about.

I myself want my own public officials to be sober, service minded, and clear headed. I want them free of undue influence.

this article totally applies to what erik gonzalez did to all the people he targeted, he didn't want only the peoples money but he told his victims to bring valuable items from their family homes to put on the "alter"
all the alter amounted to erik gonzalez was his own personal christmas tree because he high graded the valuable objects to take and put on display in his home
https://www.facebook.com/AboutHuna/posts/1087719384586415?notif_t=notify_me_page
people that con valuable art and family possessions from their victims, like under this bs... bring and give something valuable to the alter and your prayers will be recognized and answered quicker by the spirits from the spirit world ..they should face criminal charges, there must be laws protecting the vulnerable people from these scam artists.

I have spent some time researching this guy (Erick Gonzalez) and if he has any connection to us. He does not. There was a film documentary done about 15 years ago called "Chasing a Good Day To Die" about how Peyote Ceremonies saved a young man's life and family. The ceremonies were conducted by James Flaming Eagle Mooney who is our founder who has had similar success with many other people, but we did not sponsor nor do we have any ownership of the movie. He only allowed the cameras to document some parts of the experience. As a background part of the documentary the director and producer interviewed Tom Green who spoke about how powerful native medicines are in healing. We have had no contact with him since that point and did not know of his activities until you contacted us. We are going to write him a letter telling him of the accusations and letting him know that we are willing to hear his side, but if the concerns are accurate, we do not approve of his activities and would encourage him to live by the Code of Ethics we require of our medicine people and members, even though he does not belong (nor has he ever belonged) to Oklevueha Native American Church. Please feel free to share this letter with your tribal councils and members. I quote from the Code of Ethics.

Oklevueha Native American Church accepts Indigenous Earth-Based Healing Sacraments as central to our established religious belief. These include: a. Peyote – the significant Indigenous Earth-Based Healing Sacrament (Eucharist) for this church. b. Any other Indigenous Earth-Based Healing Sacrament (Ayahuasca, Cannabis, San Pedro and etc.) that has been found to benefit the health and welfare of the recipient, so long as it does not place them in harm’s way.

The names for Spiritual Leaders (Medicine Man/Woman) of Oklevueha Native American Church are known by a variety of sacred callings:  Chasta, Clergy, Curandera, Doctor, Elder, Mara’akame, Reverend, Roadman, Sacred Prayer Pipe Carrier, Water Pourer and etc.  Those who are experienced in some American Native Spiritual Empowering and/or Healing practices and who act to facilitate the spiritual practices of others that are honored with these titles. An Oklevueha Native American Church Medicine Person need not claim exclusive or definitive knowledge of his or her practice, since wisdom and competencies are frequently developed over years of observation and experience.

Even though Oklevueha Native American Church’s primary purpose is to administer Sacramental Ceremonies, an Oklevueha Native American Church Medicine Person is free to choose not to administer a sacrament during any particular American Native ceremony.

All Oklevueha Native American Church Indigenous Ceremonies of North and South America (Birth, Breath, Holy Anointing, Marriage, Passing Over, Prayer Pipe, Sacrament, Spirit Dance, Sun Dance, Sweat Lodge, and Vision Quest, but especially Birth, Sun Dance, Sweat Lodge, and Vision Quest) may include or facilitate extreme mental, emotional and physical transformations. Therefore, when a member chooses to participate in any American Native Ceremony with the assistance of an Oklevueha Native American Church Medicine person, both take on special responsibilities and understandings:

1) RESPECT. Oklevueha Native American Church Medicine People are to practice and serve in ways that cultivate awareness, empathy, and wisdom for all Members during ceremonies.

2) PREPARATION AND SAFETY. Each participant in Oklevueha Native American Church ceremonies must agree to comply with all directions or instructions concerning the safety and well being of all in attendance, from  one-hour prior, during, and three hours after ceremonies being conducted by an Oklevueha Native American Church Medicine Person.

3) INSPIRATION AND CHANGE. Efforts should be made to ensure that Oklevueha Native American Church Spiritual Practices are always inspired and conducted in ways that respect the common good, with due regard for public safety, health, and order.  Often, the increased awareness gained from American Native Spiritual ceremonies will catalyze a desire in the participants’ lives for personal and social change. In most cases, these changes should only be made after deep introspection and consideration as to how they will affect the other beings connected to the participant. Medicine People shall use special care in assisting the direction of energies of those whom they serve, as well as their own energies, in responsible ways that reflect a loving and respectful regard for all life.

4) CONSENT OF PARTICIPANT. The autonomy and dignity of each Member and/or Authorized Participant are respected and preserved by Oklevueha Native American Church Medicine People. Participation in any Oklevueha Native American Church Ceremony must be voluntary and based on prior disclosure and consent given by each participant while in an ordinary state of consciousness.

a. EXISTING CONDITIONS. Disclosure shall include, at a minimum, discussion of any elements of the ceremony that could reasonably be seen as presenting physical or psychological risks. In particular, first time Authorized Participants must be advised that American Native Ceremonies can be difficult and dramatically transforming.

b. WATCHFULNESS. The Medicine People will monitor the Health and Safety of participants during the ceremony and the few hours of vulnerability that may follow a ceremony carefully with reasonable preparations.

c. LIMITATIONS. Limits on the behaviors of Members and Authorized Participants Medicine People are to be made clear and agreed upon in advance of any American Native Ceremony.

d. CONFIDENTIALITY AND CUSTOMS. Cultural / religious customs and confidentiality are to be accepted and honored.

e. OTHER APPROACHES. Oklevueha Native American Church respects all empowerment and healing modalities; Indigenous Spiritual Ceremonies, allopathic medicine, and naturopathic medicine. ONAC Honor’s the fundamental Hippocratic principle of Do No Harm to the Spiritual, Emotional and/or Physical Being of any of our Earthly relations. It recognizes that each modality is intended to promote the health and well being of the participant. It believes that all forms of care can be incorporated into empowerment and/or healing for all of our relations, in a complementary manner.

5) INCLUSIVENESS. Oklevueha Native American Church ceremonies are to be conducted in the spirit of service. Medicine People accommodate Members and Authorized Participants without regard to race, religious affiliations, gender, cultural background, financial status, and/or political affiliations.

6) VULNERABILITY. Oklevueha Native American Church Medicine People are aware during ceremony that Members and Authorized Participants may be especially open to suggestion. Medicine People pledge to protect participants and not to allow anyone to use that vulnerability in ways that harm themselves or others.

7) EMPOWERMENT, NOT SALVATION. Oklevueha Native American Church makes absolutely no claims about being in authority or having the ability to conduct saving ordinances.

8) INTERNATIONAL COALITION. Oklevueha Native American Church is part of an indigenous Spiritual Earth Based Healing and Empowering International Collective that serves individuals and the wider community when and wherever an ONAC member resides.

9) ATTRACTION, NOT ADVERTISING. Oklevueha Native American Church is committed to growth through attraction through service rather than proselytizing for membership.

10) ABUSE NOT PROTECTED. Oklevueha Native American Church abhors; any manner of physical and/or sexual abuse of any under aged person, and any abuse and/or exploitation of ‘any’ person in ‘any’ physical and/or sexual form.  The violation of this Ethic by any ONAC member will subject the violator to the full consequence of the Laws of the Land.

11) SACRAMENTS UNDER DIRECTION OF MEDICINE PEOPLE. Oklevueha Native American Church believes any substance admitted into the body may be considered to be a sacrament and has the potential to be harmful if inappropriately used. The Oklevueha Native American Church does not approve of the utilization of any sacrament in a manner that would be likely to cause harm to one’s self or to others. “Controlled” substances must be used under the direction of medicine people to be legally protected.

I hope this will help your people to heal and that they will understand how a medicine person should act and that they will reject those who profess to be caring for them but do not follow these or similar guidelines.

Let us know if we can be of service to your people in any way.

Below is a quote from a dedicated 9 fire trained woman that devotted many years to Erick's ways. This is her correspondance sharing some of her experinces. :
"I was getting sicker and couldn't figure out what was going on. All the healers I went to said I was being attacked or loosing energy somehow. Then in Aug 2011 I ended up in the hospital ER twice needing blood transfusions and then the 3rd time ended up with 11" of my small intestine removed.. later to find out it was a super rare cancer that probably took 7/8 years to grow ( funny that's about when I started my training!)"

Erick doesn't care what happens to the women he trains. He advises his group not to communicate with the women who have questioned or had conflict with.

"The short very physical version is that I was sick for almost 2 years... it began right after I sponsored a big community fire ceremony and medicine ceremony - Ericks suggestion.. then it escalated after I did the 2nd 9 fires later that year. In Feb of 2011 my Dad died and I called Malika to tell her and have her tell Erick and everyone.. None of them ever called or contacted me in any way! That was really painful ( actually a large part of what I had to heal - that betrayal from the women I had been doing all this with for almost 8 years!)"

How long is this guy going to get away with harming women?

"Yes his dealings around money were questionable and not in alignment with what he said.

The last community fire I sponsored for him yielded over $6000 and the conversation before was that everyone involved should be compensated .. They have me $200. I did have some other conversations that didn't lead anywhere except the parrot feather story about doing it all without expectation of return."

Part of Erick's tricks is to keep his female servants in an oppressive relationship to keep you subserviant and loyal. He will use you up and run you down energetically and financially.
Sponsoring a fire for Erick means a great deal of labor and organization of summoning the public to attend and donate ingredients, gifts, money and food.
The hours are long and you are his fire slave thru it . Helping him for many hours until completed. Sometimes on your knees praying on hard ground for hours.

This is Erick's Medicine Rap for justifying his actions that he posts on his advertisements:

Breaking through hundreds of years of interference by the Euro-Christian years and the damage they left our peoples with, by reconnecting the trade routes it gives a sense of self-identity, dignity, and honoring of the sacred ways of the Americas. It also heals the generational trauma that it is now being passed on as dysfunctional ways of being.  Through our efforts of reconnecting spiritually, culturally and in the ceremonial healing ways, we see that it makes an incredible difference to the younger generations.
                                         -OmeAkaEhekatl Erick Gonzalez, 2009

He's become a glamorous drug pusher and thief under the hidden guise of shamanic healer. Time to give up the gig and come clean!
Beware if you have a passion to correct colonists' ways and join Erick in his pursuit of fame and fortune. :o :o

Erick is insane! His instructions are lethal. He instructed his participants to go up to the altar 4 times and drink a cup of poisonous amanita brew each time as one of his spiritual retreats in Patziapa in Guatemala, his special isolated drugging hut. Participants fell into toxic comas.
This man is dangerous and delusional . He destroys and ruins people with his arrogant sociopathic behavior. He uses women , seduces them with his spiritual longing and rebirth rap. He makes them believe that he is legit. They become "lovers" for his cause, his wife is his slave and female role model of a devote unto him and their pretend rituals.

I wonder if he plans on spoon feeding his new born baby daughter with all his powerful "medicines". He administered amanita poison to one his older daughter's Sylvia Gonzalez and to his wife Heddi. No one is safe in his circle. I pity their poor innocent daughter who will be subjected to these high risk parents that have no critical thinking or accountability unto the people they have injured and harmed. [/color]

I agree, starting a thread on Babs Stevens is necessary as she is actively supporting these harmful cult leaders Gonzalez and Spezzano to continue to have access and continue to effect the wellness of our communities on Haida Gwaii.

She is incapable of critical thinking and attacks citizens who have spoken up about the harm and damage committed by these cult leaders. She has become an additional threat to our community because she does not care what happened to anyone , and additionally openly encourages these sick men to continue their work. We are not safe with her in a leadership position. Our lives are at risk with her pushing the agenda of Gonzalez and Spezzano and their followers.
Below is a affirmation of Babs devotion to these people:

Message from the "team"
Recommit, Revitalize, Remember
Peggy Black and the "team"

We are here to offer a clear coherent vibration of revitalization to you. When we observe those who have been anchoring the new reality with their actions and intentions we can sense the weariness that you carry. Be embraced with our deep gratitude for holding the template and calling forth a reality of harmony and well-being for all.

Do not be discouraged by what is unfolding; do not allow anger and fear to dominate your thoughts, feelings and energy field. Recommit. Recommit, revitalize and remember the truth within your sacred heart. You are here at this time of great changes on purpose. You are the anchor as well as the doorway for the galactic family of light to unite. You hold a physical position on this planet by your conscious presence.

It is most important for you to continue to refuel and renew yourself often. There are certain requirements that your physical vehicle needs in order to function at its highest and best. You are aware of the valuable role of water, eating organic fresh foods if possible, giving yourself time for rest, and interface with nature to replenish a calm state of mind. These are all common sense suggestions for your personal well-being.

We would like to remind you also of the care and maintenance of your energy body. Just as you would wash your physical hands if need be, continue to clear your field often throughout the day. Remember to send all energy that does not belong to your personal energy signature back blessed and transformed and call your energy back blessed and transformed as well. This is basic energy hygiene 101.

Remember each morning upon opening your physical eyes to envision and claim that you are fully embodied, anchored to this planet as well as connected to your own clear divine guidance. This simple action invites a partnership between your physical body and your multidimensional star self. It is the conscious awareness of this true partnership that totally empowers you. This declaration also creates a coherent energy field around your physical body. Anchor this coherent energy in your heart. This is a most valuable practice since you are feeling the oneness and the energy fields of others.

Practice gently integrating the energy downloads that are being offered, using conscious tools that support your balance and integrity. Each day invite the energy of your sun into every cell of your physical body. Reach out and call forth renewing vibrations of nature, the stars and the offerings from the planets and celestial beings. Your physical body is the requirement needed to be here at this time and this place; remember, however it is only the chalice for your divine multidimensional consciousness.

It is your multidimensional consciousness that is woven into the oneness. Let this awareness become your foundation and continue to invite and infuse a deep real connection to others of like mind and heart. There are limited words in your language that allow us to truly express these subtle yet profound concepts and connections.

We are aware of your personal longing to have this rich connection with others who carry a vibration that is attuned to your soul note and frequency. It is time to begin to call forth and welcome your soul group. These beings of consciousness, this soul group, may embody any age or race. We are speaking here of your divine aspect and divine nature. These are others who are connecting by an energy thread to your energy fabric.

These are beings of light that connect through your DNA. Consider your DNA as your high-speed wireless vibrational interface with this soul group. Imagine that your pituitary/pineal glands are the router to this wireless connection, and your heart is the device that allows these messages and connection to come forth into your awareness.

We want you to realize that you may never meet these individuals in your physical daily life although there are those who do and who are aware of their galactic threads of connection. We invite you to be willing and open for this possibility. However also realize that you can and will connect with most of your soul group in the quantum field of the dimensions.

It starts with the awareness that there is an aspect of your multidimensional self that is also connected to a larger energy fabric or conscious group of beings who are also in physical form on this earth at this time. Once you are open to this possibility you can begin to call forth the connection and allow the synchronicity of all that is to arrange the conscious link up.

You can begin to sense and invite this meeting taking place in the quantum field of your imagination. Give yourself permission and play with this possibility. Create a sacred chamber you might go to in your imagination that would allow you to connect energetically with some other individuals who are a part of your soul colleagues.

This is the time of the coming together. Each individual human is here as a part of this evolution of consciousness. You, so to speak, are a part of a larger gathering of conscious star beings who are working together on the inner planes and dimensions to bring about this new template of reality. Reach out energetically and begin to allow yourself to connect to your group, who are also embodied and anchoring a physical form.

As a multidimensional being you also have an aspect that is connected to a larger consciousness that is non-physical. Here again we are just triggering you to remember; always inviting and encouraging you to own the many levels and many dimensions you are engaged and actively participating in. Most of this engagement and participation is done while the physical body is at rest or asleep. We are encouraging you to begin to connect actively while fully aware and awake. Begin to see or sense the non-physical beings that are a part of your star community.

Know that there are other humans just like you living upon this planet who are here doing powerful transformative work simply by holding the form and feeling the emotions. Remember it is through the consciousness of the human heart that transformation takes place. We can support you and encourage you; the work, however, is yours to do

We observe the intense focus that the physical aspect seems to demand, and we certainly want you always to take care of this form in the ways that are necessary for your well-being and balance. However it is time for you to allow your awareness to expand, to begin to call forth and connect with the other aspects of your team, both physical and non-physical. You are the portal for the energy and the light of transformation to be fully anchored and embodied here in this timeframe and this reality. You have incredible support available and we are here to remind you to connect to that support and your team of light beings.

Remember you are the focus; you are riding these waves of energy, observing the chaos and the dysfunctions of this planet all the while inviting support and connecting with more and more aspects of your multidimensional family both physical and non-physical.

You are here to stabilize all the new vibrations that are being offered by the galactic conscious community of light beings. This earth reality requires a conscious being in physical form to be the inviter, the doorway, the portal and the anchor. Celebrate, honor and acknowledge your connection to the woven web of oneness. Celebrate, honor and acknowledge that you are an important aspect of all that is unfolding.

Allow yourself to expand into the spaciousness of the oneness with the energy and fabric of light. Call forth and invite the many divine connections that are yours by divine right. Once the seeds of knowing your truth have been triggered by these words and our blessings of energy, you will become aware of yourself connecting with your soul communities on many levels and dimensions. You are not alone, never have been and never will be. That is an illusion we invite you to release and sweep away.

We honor and acknowledge you for your service and your precious willingness. Know that you are held in the embrace of our love and support. The 'team'

Quote

Gonzalez is neither an enrolled Native nor an NAC member.

http://www.newagefraud.org/smf/index.php?topic=3420.msg30891#msg30891 (http://www.newagefraud.org/smf/index.php?topic=3420.msg30891#msg30891)

Funders should be aware of how Gonzalez and his enslaved women hussel funds for their "important projects", reason to get money to survive since they do not have a real job or careers.

after reading this article ,
http://medprecautions.org/heroin-overdoses-will-now-be-considered-homicides-coroner-says/

it remeinds me of a woman that was diagnosed with cancer and erik gonzalez told her he can cure her with his "medicines" .erik had one of his fake "shamans" administer hallucinogenic substances to her and she stopped taking western medicines, needless to say erik's promise to cure her was all bullshit, she passed away.
before she passed she told the fake shaman to stop the medicines, stop the fires ,stop the ceremonies. they're all no good, it's too bad she realized to late gonzalez "teachings" are all lies.
the herion overdose article makes me wonder if erik gonzalez and his fake shaman could be help accountable homicide in the death of his woman ,she asked for other healing methods but the cancer was too far advanced to be helped by anyone, we'll never know what chances she would've gad in surviving other healing modals but we'll never know because she was poisoned by erik and one of his accomplices, maybe they should be charged with some sort of murder charges, like manslaughter .

after reading this article ,
http://medprecautions.org/heroin-overdoses-will-now-be-considered-homicides-coroner-says/

it remeinds me of a woman that was diagnosed with cancer and erik gonzalez told her he can cure her with his "medicines" .erik had one of his fake "shamans" administer hallucinogenic substances to her and she stopped taking western medicines, needless to say erik's promise to cure her was all bullshit, she passed away.
before she passed she told the fake shaman to stop the medicines, stop the fires ,stop the ceremonies. they're all no good, it's too bad she realized to late gonzalez "teachings" are all lies.
the herion overdose article makes me wonder if erik gonzalez and his fake shaman could be help accountable homicide in the death of his woman ,she asked for other healing methods but the cancer was too far advanced to be helped by anyone, we'll never know what chances she would've gad in surviving other healing modals but we'll never know because she was poisoned by erik and one of his accomplices, maybe they should be charged with some sort of murder charges, like manslaughter .

there is a term being used
"reckless indifference"
for drugs and or substances that are harmful to give to people ending in homicide.I wonder if that applies here?

We invite you to join us in supporting the
future generations...

To our Earth Peoples United Family~

It has been a few years since we have had the request and support to create a youth-focused event at Deer Mountain, beyond personal ceremonies for our daughter Ixchel who is now a year and a half old. When we created a schedule for this year, we saw that August 18th was the Mayan Calendar day of Jun Ajmak - the day that the Maya do ceremonies to celebrate, honor, and bless the children. This seemed like a wonderful opportunity to create something at Deer Mountain.

A small group of people came together in a beautiful way at the Summer Solstice ceremonies to make a request of Tata Erick to create a family-style gathering with  intention to bring beautiful and powerful support to and an honoring of our children and youth; bringing blessings to their lives, the lives of their families and communities; offering prayers to keep them safe, well and protected, and to re-kindle and keep the connection to that which is sacred alive in their hearts.

Due to the limited number of people we can accommodate, invitations have been sent out and a small but diverse group of elders, adults, youth, and children will be coming together at Deer Mountain for the powerful ceremonies (see schedule below).

Although our space is limited, we would love to invite your participation in the following ways:
•   Donate to help with the expenses of this event: Click HERE
•   Donate to help support the ongoing needs of the Deer Mountain Sanctuary: Click HERE
•   Help serve the land at Deer Mountain on the weekend of August 13-14 or take down on Aug 22-23 - contact HeddiL@gmail.com for more info...
•   Send a message to be shared with the children & youth to HeddiL@gmail.com
•   Send offerings for the fires to PO Box 96  Yreka, CA 96097
•   Send gifts for the youth/children or elders to PO Box 96  Yreka, CA 96097
•   Join your prayers with ours on any of the days of this event

Now Gonzalez and his wife Heddi exploit their own newborn child to drum up business and recruit new families! Looks like this baby will never know privacy or her true self. Everyone is exploited in Erick's "ceremonies"!

Below is Erick Gonzalez promoting himself with fees for every kind of "spiritual service".

Join Tata Erick Gonzalez, Mayan Aj Q'ij (Spiritual Leader) for sacred ceremonies in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts and Southern Vermont.

September 1st - 9th, 2016

Within the traditional indigenous circles and within the native people of the Maya, Tat Erick is called an Aj Q'ij and a KamalBey (spiritual teacher). His entire life has been walking between the worlds, the physical/mental with the spiritual/elemental. And with this lifelong experience, he has become aware of the supernatural beings that hold and co-create cosmic natural elemental forces. In the ceremonies, he has received their blessings and their manifestations, so that it becomes more than a human ceremony experience, but a true dimensional spiritual experience.
This incredible journey has guided him to create sacred spiritual sanctuaries north of Mt Shasta in Northern CA through Earth Peoples United and Lake Atitlan, Guatemala- places of profound beauty, learning and healing. www.spiritjaguar.com

Uploaded here is an article from 2009-  A Case of Possession. Journal of Spirituality & Paranormal Studies . Apr2009, Vol. 32 Issue 2, p102-110. 9p. Author Gusch, Elene. Abstract: "A healer encounters a patient who is possessed by a demonic entity, and finds herself utterly unprepared to deal with the consequences"

My own summary: a Nuage "healer" who doesn't know what the hell she is doing, acquires a client who is mentally ill, physically challenged,  and unstable. Rather than refer her client to proper resources, she eventually decides the client is possessed.

Months of "treatment", eventually the author herself feels ill. She turns to Erick Gonzalez.

I'll paste in some excerpts concerning Erick Gonzalez. This can help us understand more about how he operates.

Quote
The healer, Erick Gonzalez, was going to be meeting clients at a home on the west side of Albuquerque, and I made arrangements to take Jeanne to see him.  As soon as we got out of the car, the people at the house made a wide berth around us and kept everyone from getting too close.  We didn’t have to tell them that something evil was coming toward them.  They could feel it, and more than that, as they explained to me later, they could smell it.  That smell was a primary diagnostic symptom.  The possession was all too real.  I have to tell you a bit about Erick Gonzalez, what little I know.  Recently, in an attempt to prepare for writing this article, I tried to find some current contact information for him.  In looking him and his organization up on the Web, I could only find a couple of references, and what I did find was rather ominous.  A site belonging to a Native American group listed him among people and groups that were pretending to be Indians but were not.  They said that Erick was neither Mayan nor an authentic shaman, that he was a complete charlatan.  I don’t know if Erick truly has Mayan ancestry, but I can say absolutely that he has a real connection to the spirit world and can accurately see what is going on inside a person.  I am uncomfortable about this question and nonplussed about what it means.  It’s just one more bit of surreal confusion to add to the rest of this strange story.

Quote
Erick was consulting with clients in a small room upstairs.  As I had been told to do, I gave him some crystals and some herbs from my office as gifts to help the exchange of energy.  I told him that I had been feeling strangely and severely sick lately, in a way that I had never been sick before, and that I didn’t know what was wrong with me.

Quote
“Is this just since you’ve been working with…?” he asked, inclining his head in Jeanne’s direction.    “Yes,” I replied.  “Yes,” he repeated.  It wasn’t necessary to say anything more.  Here is the strangest part: when the entity realized that Erick was on to it, it suddenly jumped out of me a little and toward him, so that we both could see it.  It was like a reptilian mask superimposing itself on my face for just a moment, then fading back inside my body.  It was terrifying—but not really surprising

Quote
I asked Erick what the thing was, and he replied, in an offhand manner, “It’s a demon.”  As if demons show up every day, which perhaps they do in his line of work.  I never did get really clear whether it was a single entity or a group.
So we were sure the thing was there; it only remained to figure out what to do about it.  Erick’s style of healing relied largely on a traditional Mayan fire ceremony (or a fake, made-up Mayan fire ceremony—what do I know?).  He explained the long list of supplies I needed to get in order to do the ceremony.  It wasn’t easy to come up with the dozens of candles in specific colors, the alcohol, the chocolate—and the hundreds of dollars to cover all that and Erick’s fee.  I didn’t feel that I had a choice.  I was in huge trouble and I had to do something to get out of it.  I felt utterly unable to manage this on my own.
Erick also took a more general look at me, which he called “looking behind my eyes.”  He gazed steadily into my eyes, and I could feel him connecting.  What he said about my life overall was that I was in difficulty because I wanted to succeed in my practice and to help people, but at the same time I wanted to be left alone.  At the time, I was struggling to find enough patients to make a living, and this seemed like a perfect description of my situation.
Erick had a look at Jeanne, as well, and she left feeling hopeful that he could help her.   Unfortunately, she did not have the resources that I did to put a ceremony together, so the situation was even more difficult for her

Quote
I went out to buy a huge pile of supplies for the fire ceremony.  The hardest part was the collection of candles in different prescribed colors; I can’t remember how many colors or how many of each, but it was a lot.  Fortunately, we had a candle store at the mall.  I also had to have chocolate, alcohol, and an egg or two.  I brought extra offerings of moxa and other herbs from my office that I thought might be worth something to Erick.  This was in addition to a few hundred dollars or so for Erick himself.  I was distressed at the large outlay of money on top of everything else, and I didn’t make it clear to my family how much I was spending.

Quote
The ceremony was held at the home of one of Erick’s associates, Patricio, on the west side of Albuquerque.

Quote
An egg was used to help cleanse my body of the entity.  Erick ran the egg all around me, the way curanderas do for a limpia.  Then he broke it into a jar of water and showed me what he said was the shape of the entity.  I wasn’t sure if I saw what he saw, but everything else was dramatic enough to help my belief along.

I had to smoke enough tobacco to make me throw up.

Quote
Because Jeanne, disabled and unemployed, had essentially no money, I had bought the candles and other materials for her.  When I spoke to Erick later about the outcome, he said that one reason things weren’t going well was that Jeanne wasn’t putting any of her own effort or resources into the deal.  I don’t know if he completely understood how little she had to work with, but he was talking about the spiritual as well as material aspects of the situation.  He said that she didn’t truly want to get rid of the entity, because it made her feel special.

Quote
The last I ever heard from Jeanne was a frantic phone call at my house one evening late in 1999.  She was in a cab on the street outside, and she was begging me for help.  I desperately wanted to be able to help, but I knew that there was nothing I could do.  Her problems were way too big for me.  The cab driver spoke with me.  He was thinking of taking her to a hospital, and I told him that that was the best idea I could think of as well.

Quote
I know that she wanted to die and had considered suicide many times; she had said that she was too much of a “coward” to actually do it.  Perhaps death was her best option by that time, and perhaps that is what happened eventually.  I suppose that is my hope.

This is currently pinned at the top of their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/spiritjaguar/

So they don't want "criticisms and controversial energies". Fortunately we are all free to continue to criticize.

I wonder if some followers are trying to branch out on their own and Gonzalez hopes to stop this.
