Yeagley's Follower Is Trying to Smear NAFPS
« on: November 24, 2006, 06:44:13 pm »
Someone calling himself "Tall Soldier" who won't say his real name or the unit he alleges he was one part of. It gets pretty ridiculous. He's basing everything on the Scarlet Kinney's whining to the world about us. And he's also claiming we have lots of porn ads.

Funny thing is, not even the lone other supporter of Yeagley, BAG, is buying his lies.

Nice to see so many people defending us. I suppose we shouldn't be suprised that a white imposter's follower gets angry to see white Nuage exploiters exposed. He supports "Indian" mascots and whites playing Indians, why not?

He's over at Badeagle.com now, spreading the smears further. But even there, people are laughing at him. Except for Yeagley, of course, who is cheering him on and too lazy to notice Martin's lies.

Army honors Dallas man who exposed fake records

"I think he's been a great service to everybody – certainly to veterans who deserve recognition for their service and acts of heroism and whose achievements are devalued by people who are claiming them falsely," said Mark Bowden, a national correspondent with Atlantic Monthly magazine and author of Black Hawk Down.

John W. Nicholson, an undersecretary at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, nominated Mr. Burkett for the award more than a year ago, noting that Mr. Burkett had to overcome huge obstacles to get his story out.

"He did all this despite death threats, lawsuits and a completely unhelpful book industry that at first refused to publish his findings," Mr. Nicholson said.

But the results have been significant, he said.

"He exposed a mass distortion of history that cost taxpayers billions of dollars" in undeserved veteran benefits, Mr. Nicholson said. "He returned to the Vietnam veterans their good name."

The resolution itself isn't real. It appeared originally on a satire website. My guess is they just wanted to point out Yeagley could be banished for his actions.

Even though the document isn't for real, it's practically true. The Comanches wouldn't let him on their Business Comittee, or their committee to rewrite their constitution. They won't even let him speak at their tribal college, where he wanted to speak in favor of mascots. When he speaks at tribal meetings they do their best to be polite, but often his wackiness and ignorance leads to a lot of snickering and groans.

My understanding is that the Comanche don't banish anyone, not even a nut like him, but he's gotten as close as they've ever come to it.
