Not really sure what to say here, beyond I am joining as a show of support.
As someone who understands having their culture misappropriated by those with no entitlement to it, I feel every voice of "this is not right, I agree with what you're doing" is worth having.
So: this is not right, I agree with what you're doing.
I wish you the best in your struggles and offer my best wishes and whatever support I can.

Just as a note, I've read both the purpose of the forum and the disclaimer.
I've actually read through a lot of the forums.
For anyone I converse with, my first language is Irish, not English. I was raised in an Irish speaking house, which has shaped how I speak and (I believe) how I see the world. To compound this, I am dyslexic.

Go raibh míle, ach is docha go bfhuil sé mímhúinte leabhair as teanga gallmhar in áit daoinemhear comh súil le seo.
Mura bfhuil fadbh ag chuile dhuine eile, beidh sásta orm leabhairt leat as Gaeilge níos minic, ach tá orm a rá, tá mo chuid litreacha uafasach.
(Rough translation, favouring flavour of expression over literal accuracy:
Thanks a million, but I think i's probably a little rude to be speaking in a foreign language in a public place like this.
If no-one cares, thouhg, I'd be only too happy to talk with you in Irish regularly, but I must confesss, my spelling is awful).

It's OK, my Gaeilge is awful ;) We can spare the rest of the group and inflict our typing on one another in private. :)

You do, however, get public kudos for not calling it "Gaelic". *grin*

Good screen name. We can always use more serenity around here :)
