Title: Ed Whiting
Post by: debbieredbear on October 31, 2005, 05:11:15 am
He is from Pine Ridge. Or at least that is what I heard. The new fraud on the scene claims that he was trained by Mr. Whiting. I am wondering if the guy is real. If he is legire. If he is legite does he know this fraud is claiming that Ed Whiting "trained him" and said he was a shaman?

I haven't found any sign of Whiting doing anything else, including mentioned as an elder. It could be Whiting has some knowledge but is not an elder, and the local fraud is just throwing his name around.

I am thinking yoiu could be correct that Andy is throwing the man's name around. His stpry is pretty wild. He says that he stayed with Mr. Whiting and mowed his lawn every day. And each day he was asked what he learned. Then he says he had a breakthrough and was told by Mrs. Whiting to read Mary Summer Rain's books. After that, they told him he was a shaman.

I see on the one link, there is an email link for Mr. Whiting. Perhaps I will try and email him.
