J/k....they come from everywhere...literally ALLL OVER THE WORLD.  There's definite "Hotspots" where they're more concentrated throughout the US.

Many people come from so much disconnection with roots or family that they do not know how to keep their feet on the ground. The church has kept a lot of people down and has been unmasked. People know that spirituality is real but they are so used to commercial cartoon culture in TV, super speedy society, no time to really think things over, oppressive schooling that makes people hate the idea of educating themselves about anything, and so forth, they accept many false things. People are suckers for convenience. People have their own ancestral legacies of violence they are running away from and do not wish to face, as victim, as perpetrator or as both. People know they are on NDN land and feel guilty about it.  They don't know who they are and they know they need to learn. Many are recovering from drug and alcohol abuse or some other type of abuse. Frauds are a type of criminal (or "unethical business person" if you prefer) who is taking advantage of these conditions. They make themselves look respectable, and people assume they are respectable. They make themselves look exotic, and people assume they have something new to say.

A lot of them function thanks to the associates of Richard Kieninger. For an account of the new age industry he founded, write me or Educated Indian, and you'll get a full account.

It actually all does fit together, and it functions as a well organized international industry today, confusing many people about spiritual matters.
