When the Newcomers came to Our shores, many of them were looking for the so-called "Fountain of Youth", after wandering thru the Beauty section of Shopper's Drug Mart its quite apparent they have not let go of this Obsession

On a related note, have you seen this EPIC mashup (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gy08vi8bGSE) by a sociology student?  He re-appropriates the Disney image of Pocahantas to articulate a manifesto against racist objectification of women of color, using the voice of a (male) feminist Filipino spoken word artist.  This is what gives me hope for the future of humanity!!!
