Hmmm, she grew up outside of her culture, discovered it as an adult, has a Lakota name, although she is Dineh, and promotes nnnnnuage and panIndianism..

Mostly what she teaches about is sustainability. The way she goes about it, I question if it's the best way.

Mostly general discussion of how to live. The drumming seems mostly to give people a taste of the culture.

This course and some of the gatherings seem borderline.

Teaching ethics, culture, philosophy, etc, perfectly fine and noble. Having ceremony as part of the course...what purpose does that serve?

I found her in company with some frauds (i.e. Jim Graywolf Petruzzi , Itzhak Beery, Elizabeth Jenkins), and then some people I never heard about before (some of them to be researched):

Pat McCabe - The Female of our Kind: Holy Earth Surface Walker, Life-Bringer, Life-Bearer, Standing with Life, as Life.

Pat McCabe (Weyakpa Najin Win, Woman Stands Shining) is a Diné (Navajo) grandmother, activist, artist, writer, ceremonial leader, and international speaker. She is a global voice for peace and draws upon the Indigenous sciences of Thriving Life to reframe questions about sustainability and balance, and she is devoted to supporting the next generations, Women’s Nation and Men’s Nation, in being functional members of the “Hoop of Life” and upholding the honor of being human

It is an honour to welcome Weyakpa Najin Win at the Sacred Earth Activism gathering. About her subject she says ”As the female of our kind, I stand with the full authority of the Mother Earth to speak on behalf of Life. It is my place to ask: Are we placing Life at the center? Are we placing it at the center of our actions, our decisions, our plans?”  Website

Her primary work at the moment is:
• The reconciliation between the masculine and feminine, Men's Nation and Women's Nation
• Remembering, recreating or creating anew a narrative for the Sacred Masculine
• Addressing the Archetypal Wounding that occurred in our misunderstanding and abuse of technology in prayer, ceremony and science

This is an interview with her:

According to which, this seems to be her father:

The name Weyakpa Najin Win sounds like it might be Lakota. Someone else would know better.
