Title: What to say next?
Post by: tecpaocelotl on February 13, 2014, 10:01:48 pm
When talking to people that certain people are just new agers or frauds, the people who believe in them, usually bring out this fallacy, saying an elder told them that when you do something, people will talk about whether it's good or bad. That when you do nothing, no one talks about it.

I always say that is the stupidest thing I ever heard which doesn't get them to change their mind. LOL.

What should I say instead? What should I say that demonstrates their statement has flaws?

I would ask what is the elder's name and which tribe?

Good question to use.

What if I know they're not a fraud based on the quote they gave me, what else could I ask?
