If he is from a rez in St. George, he would be Paiute, not Lakota. So right there, that he calls himself "Lakota John" is a huge red flag.

On April 20, 1937 the Lone Pine Paiute-Shoshone Reservation was established through a land exchange between the Department of the Interior and the City of Los Angeles.

The Lone Pine Paiute-Shoshone Reservation is located at an elevation of 3,697 feet above sea level in the southern portion of the Owens Valley between the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Inyo Mountain Ranges, approximately 200 miles north of Los Angeles and 60 miles south of Bishop. Climatic conditions are typical of Southern California semi-arid high desert regions with hot, dry summers and moderately cold winters. Annual precipitation averages less than 5 inches and occurs primarily as rain during the winter months. Occasional light snowfalls can occur.

The Lone Pine Paiute-Shoshone Reservation has a Tribal population of approximately 350 residents and consists of 237.4 acres of land near the community of Lone Pine, California.

Two of his past failed endeavors. (My use of bolding)

ST. GEORGE, Utah - A peace park featuring a collection of sculptures that represent a grand council of famous chiefs from across Indian country is envisioned near Zion National Park by Four Winds, a group working to bring the idea to reality. The park is to serve as a center of Native wisdom and cross-cultural healing.

"The peace park is a way to gather people and open the doors to communication," said Lakota John, an energetic visionary of Minneconjou, Cheyenne, Choctaw, and Pueblo, ancestry, who currently lives in southwestern Utah, where he offers the Sacred Path, a recovery program for Native youth and adults.

KIDDER, Mo. -- A Cheyenne American Indian plans to transform the former Thayer Learning Center into an intertribal school.

"We're starting clean slate here," said owner-operator Lakota John. "This is going to be a spiritual academy."

Lakota told the News-Press he purchased the academy's property from its owners several weeks ago, after learning of its availability on the market. John and Willa Bundy, of St. George, Utah, opened Thayer in the fall of 2002 as a private boarding school for teenagers suffering from behavior-related problems.

"We're going to put in a tribal academy," Lakota said. "We're going to be teaching dance, music, trades, basket weaving."

The school will become part of the Utah-based Sacred Path Spiritual Recovery Program, with plans to open in all 50 states and Canada. The organization is composed of various tribes. An informational brochure said Sacred Path is "designed to help people identify, process and release the issues that deny them the right to live happy, productive lives."

Traditional American Indian methods will be utilized.

It's Funny he calls himself Lakota Boy John, and then says he's Cheyenne.
