Turtle Island Tribal Nation
« on: September 19, 2019, 02:35:30 am »
No ties to any other group with Turtle Island in their name, AFAIK.

A new group calling itself the "The Turtle Island Tribal Nation" (Website Here) is causing a stir by promoting itself as a sort of all-encompassing tribe that will include anyone with a drop of indigenous DNA into their ranks.

To register for tribal membership in this new "nation" you must meet a 1% requirement.  They state that: [a registrant must have] "...1% of Turtle Island Indigenous Blood found within your DNA will likewise be found in the DNA of every cell of your body and therefore you are in-partitionable and fully indigenous and joint heir to Turtle Island."

As a requirement, new members are supposed to complete basic/beginner language, culture and traditions training from a Tribal Elder within the first 2 years of acceptance, although it is not certain what tribe or who such elders might be.

Leadership of this new nation include a man named "Mide Ogichidaa Winini" who claims to be Grand Chief of an unknown "Peace Pipe, Friendship and Alliance Treaty", Biizhik Gigi Ahki, a supposed "Traditional Hereditary Chief of the Crane Clan", Tom Dostou, who is the "Sub-Chief of Grand Chief William Commanda", and Nenookaasikwe Shairl Acquin, who is designated as their "Traditional Chief of the Metis Peoples", among other leaders who are self-appointed to lifetime positions.

The group's membership cards claim to provide the ability of a member to carry eagle feathers, a right that is only afforded to members of Federally recognized Indian Tribes - potentially setting up people who join and acquire such feathers to be subject to federal criminal charges.

Shairl Acquin claiming to be Metis chief.

There are several going by Abuela Colibri (Hummingbird) online. One just does knitting videos. This one seems most likely to me, does shamanic retreats and uses last name of Devi which is Hindi for goddess. Though TITN list her as Nahua from Mexico, she is Colombian.

IOW, peddles to non Natives in the predominantly non Native capital, the only non Native woman in that group.

Randa Larue claims to be Yahi Peoples Band. The Yahi were made extinct by California Indian Genocide. The best known of them and the last to die was the famous Ishi.

No idea why Mexica is weirdly spelled as Mashika.

Google translation from German to English:

Quote
Thursday, 26.09.2019, 15.00 (for pupils); 19.30 (for all)

Anishinaabe - The uncertain future of one of the largest surviving Native American peoples in North America

Lecture by David Taylor with discussion ( Presentation language: English)

David Taylor - tribally named Mide Ogichidaa Winini - is "Head of the Adik Caribou Clan and War Chief of the Anishinaabe", an area that once extended around the great lakes of North America. The peaceful co-existence and harmony with nature and surrounding tribes was brought to a sudden halt by the arrival of whites in North America. Through planned and targeted genocide attempts were made to drive the Anishinaabe out of their territory and turn them into lawless and landless subhumans. What very few people know, however, is that this injustice is still happening today.

David Taylor tells the nation's culture and history in an interactive presentation in English, and also reports on the incredible suffering that has befallen his people and continues to this day. For example, members of his tribe are specifically deprived of their rights and expropriated or their children are abducted and educated in orphanages in order to alienate them culturally. Since such content is not welcome in Trump's America, David Taylor now lives in Germany and tells you unbelievable beautiful and sad stories.

During the lecture and afterwards you can ask questions in English and in German.

Organizer: David Taylor, Integration Council of Kempten and Haus International

Original can be found on this event page http://www.hausinternational.de/

I wonder if David Taylor is headed towards some sort of sovereign citizen direction. I've uploaded here his "Oath of Fidelity of the Turtle Island Tribal Nation" https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=222634945371924&set=a.169848093983943&type=3&theater

As for why he is actually in Germany, I believe that he is in the military.

Indigenous Criminal Tribunal has been Enacted, media release coming shortly, this is just sneak peak.

Their courts are not for us, have never served us, we must hold them accountable by first law under the jurisdiction of Creator's Law with the unity of International Law under the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

TITN website is down. Barker is still active on FB. But I don't see any more mentions of TITN, though he does still post from some of the TITN alleged elders. Larue who claims to be an elder of an extinct people actually claims Yahi was a great great uncle.

This is what Barker claims in an email. ILN and NAIN are well known legit historically important activist groups. But neither have anything to do with TITN except Barker seems to want to use them as models.

------------
My mentally disabled twin has nothing to do with the Turtle Island Tribal Nation and I didnt make this up, it was founded back in 1940s by the Indian League of Nations founded in 1920. Do a little research. They were called the North American Indian Nation.

Second, there are no fees. We initially allowed the Native American Church of Turtle Island on our council as they had the ability to assist in ID cards.

However we discovered within the first week everyone we sent info for an ID card they were trying to get them to pay $100 to enroll in their church. And what made it more disconcerting is they wanted payment into their personal paypal or bank account.

Their President David Gaskin is affiliated with Nathan Wright and they are both Sault Ste Marie Tribe members and are 100% not affiliated with us.

We have not received a penny. Neither have I!

Regarding the Metis Nation and their News article on us you posted, You are smart enough to realize that the Metis Nation allows you to be a member of their nation if you have a single native in your family history back to 1800.

Which is LESS than 1% by DNA or Quantum!

Yet, if you have a native on the Dawes rolls of 1880-1900, and not another native in your line until present you would be 1/128 quantum or 1% Native.

Yet! When we state the exact same!!! We are attacked, even my Metis Nation News!

There are warnings on Facebook concerning  David Taylor Barker aka Mide Ogichidaa Winini. These accusations are alleged, we don't have proof.

One woman says she knows of about a dozen other women who have had this experience. Alleged is that he "preys on non-status native women". That he lures women into helping him with various projects and that contact quickly progresses to overly unwanted sexual advances.

David Taylor-Barker sent this email. The law firm he claims to have specializes in corporate law, finance, banking, and antitrust suits. No mention of handling libel or even non corporate clients.

First his email, then my response.

--------
I have retained Porter, Wright, Morris and Arthur.

This is the initial request that will be followed by legal notification.

Despite being informed I am actually an Indian, as well as with
documentation from the Great Plains Director of the BIA, you have
allowed your thread to contain false information about me. Which due to
your site name causes confusion with people doing background checks.

You additionally inspired, with false information, multiple
investigations by the FBI which cleared me in full,
the undue harassment you are liable for.

Additionally, people have contacted speaking events and employers due to
your false thread causing undue harassment and hardship.

You are liable. Your false site played a part in my divorce and caused
undue hardship that was overcame, but not without much stress.

Additionally, you defamed my twin sister who is transgender and despite
a genealogist posting she is in fact native, you kept it up, causing
undue hardship in her personal life with harassment.

I am now a Chief in my traditional tribe and the administrator on 10
Facebook groups with over 500,000 members.

Not only am I sueing you for damages but I will make this public this
weekend.

Provide your point of contact.

Regards
David Taylor-Barker

No "ownership." We are not a business. We are a forum for over 3,000 activists from dozens of tribes and supporters worldwide.

Never heard a thing about you from the BIA or FBI.

Never heard a thing about your divorce before this.

I see that you are sending this email from the "Little Shell Pembina Nation" website of Pembinachippewa.org, the militia and sovereign citizen group. Have you now joined them?

I see also that your claimed law firm specializes in banking and antitrust law, and typically only represents corporations.

We always seek more information and would be glad to post any statement of yours to clear these matters up.

We'll post this email of yours. Would you like to make clear your relationship with militias and sovereign citizens?
