NSLF, New Self Love Foundation is a 501 (c) 3. She is only one of several. I see she claims no Tribal affiliation, but all hints at Cherokee. One of the others is Eastern Cherokee and Iriquois. They deal in on-line counseling, herbs, crystals and prayer. Of course, donations accepted. No Prices. Appears to deal mostly with pop culture people. Really a pretty vague website.

I can't believe they actually chose that as the name of their foundation. "Self love"? In other words, jerking yourself off or playing with yourself. Maybe it means something different Britain, where they seem to claim they've been trained by someone simply called Elizabeth.
Can't find anyone named Nuzhoni online, but there are hundreds of Lightfoots claiming to be shamans.

I flipped on one of them twinks..Had a video that demonstrated how to make a Russian vodka tincture and had it posted where thousands of youth could see it. It was right about the time a teen was found dead in Canada from messing with jimson weed.... It didn`t sit too well with me and he took it down when i reminded him of his TOS violation.

Anyone can find out how to do tinctures, its in virtually every medicinal herbal book out there. The alcohol didn't kill the kid, it was the misuse of the herb.

No,alcohol wasn`t a factor in the boys death. I`m straight up anti drug and alcohol and if i see a way a child can be exposed i`m not going to help anyone along. You don`t have to use alcohol in tinctures. We didn`t have Russian vodka.

not in all tinctures, however some herbs do need the alcohol to extract properly.

There is 3 or 4 people in this group. One is English, Elizabeth, an "international medium", the Wolf Lodge man who claims Cherokee/Iroquois who claims herbs and being a shamam, and one called Blue Bird, I can tell what she does. and this woman. She probably uses Cherokee greeting and no doubt Wado when called for as they are the most common words seen on the internet. If she is Choctaw and doesn't know the greeting, she has never been around any Choctaw. They still speak their language.

Well....it shows she's clearly NOT Choctaw then if shes picking commonly used greetings in another language from cyberspace eh..and even if she is Choctaw and has not been raised on a rez or around her people...you would think she'd at least know that the Cherokee language and the Choctaw language are not the same thing....

....Considering she's apparently all of the above...you'd thing one would know these things. The Cherokee and the Choctaw language are very different....and if she has picked up "Osiyo"...she could have googled the below too no doubt.

According to her website it's used for elders. ie help rebuild, restore. Now working in NM. But information is vague. I can't find her listed under just name, and there is no address except email. Get an address, maybe. http://www.TaxExemptWorld.com/ has no records of that name. But they only have 1.5 million names. Get an address can also check the IRS. Good luck on that one.

One thing you can do, complain to myspace. she has a blog about the teachings of white buffalo calf woman.
Perhaps if one of the L/D/N members would be so kind as to inform myspace that she is teaching things she does not have the right to, and corrupting them by including newage doctrine, thus creating and teaching a false understanding of the religious beliefs of your people. perhaps include the statement by chief Looking Horse, and remind them that as a nation you have the right to demand that this information be removed.
If I (or any other white person) did so, it would not carry as much weight as a native doing so.

I received an email back from Shahawin this morning.....
She claims:
we have not received any donation as of yet for we just became nonprofit in Nov. when we do all donation will be use to help the elders at this time in this area where we are. There is mold and mildew in the home making the elders sick, our goal is to fix their home through donation money so they can live healthier.
We have spoke with Mescalero Apache Housing Authority,Some Tribal Councils members , the Montoya, Social and Economic Development Services who we have meetings with the first of July.
Yes I am Choctaw, I am sorry that you got confused, when we were building the website I had help from my Cherokee Friend with some of the web pages .so through excited on what we were building
for our people so they would see help was coming . Our words got entangle..That happens some times when you have more then one person working on the same thing.
Also....
I have been told I was a Shaman, people give you many names, Just like you did.

Regarding her postings on the teachings of White Buffalo Calf Woman...
I will not allow any disrespect or dishonor of the teaching of White Buffalo Calf Woman this is not new age doctrine these teaching have been around way before you and I were born.. These teaching are to keep us on the Red Road, How sad she would be to know that hate has kept us off the road.

No I am not enrolled with the Choctaw Nation. Yes I can show my Native American heritage.
As I said in answer number one we have just became nonprofit. all our paper work is legal, and our work will begin in July with Tribal elders, Tribal councils, in our area to help fix the homes that have mold and mildew in them.
Our Goal is to be able to help all elders in all areas who have mold and mildew once we get started.
Now as for the foundation not all of the people that work at the foundation are Native American. the people who founded and help start it are. So as you said I wrote Osiyo, I have many side to my back ground, please look at that page again on the foundation web site.
For I have one page the founder page. that's me! the page that you are talking about is Medicine Wolf page, and what its says is who he is.
SO....although she firstly claims that SOMEONE ELSE created the site and their words got entangled....she now claims "She has many sides to her background".
Also the page she speaks of is her MySpace page...which is now claiming does not belong to her but to Medicine Wolf...
She also send me an attachment of a photocopied sheet of paper...which the heading clearly attached...typed up in very poor english...which is apparently her Certificate Of Incorporation to show that her business is not a web based business (Her own words).
A big pile of BS if you ask me....just my humble opinion.

I made no accusations, I just wanted more information to make an informed decision.
