Title: Barbara Lee White AKA Kachinas Kutenai
Post by: educatedindian on March 12, 2006, 07:11:10 pm
She's showed up briefly before in one thread. Didn't have much at the time, but she's since been discovered all over German sites. Yet again, thanks to Ingeborg, whose putting in an awful lot of time doing research and translating.

-----
Kachinas Kutenai. I found 192 Grrman language sites on her; the total for all languages is 266.

---- ? www.redestab.de
According to this site (the name translates as 'talking stick' btw), KK was born in 1935 on the Gila River rez in Arizona; she is said to be a Chiricahua Apache.

--- ?  ?  www.avrecording.de/huc04.htm
Announces and event with KK as a speaker on 'Clearvoyance regarding mother earth and father sky

--- ?  ?  www.pz-testudo.de/selbst.html

The bio of a German woman going by the name of 'Arupa'. Bio says she started out with Osho, then studied with Frank Natale.
Now she is described as "interpretor and translator for her Indian 'grandmother' and mentor Kachinas Kutenai, an Apache shaman and medicine woman".

English sites:

www.collegeofthedesert.edu/Students/Academics/CommunityEducation/index.asp?id=297

Al's note: Not certain why KK'd be born on Gila River rez, it's Pima and Maricopa. The Chiricahuas are mostly over at San Carlos rez, some at White Mountain. And that name of hers...

I joined this Board *specifically* to address the "Truth" of Kachinas Kutenai for I know her personally (tho' I do not expect ANYone to "take my word for it.")
Yes, she was born in 1935 on the Gila Reservation of Arizona. Perhaps the confusion as to her (Chiricahua)ancestry may be "settled" by what I have learned of the Apache.
Caused by the same (White) ignorance that "lumps" all Latinos into the same category/People, be they Cuban, Puerto Rican, Mexican, Guatemalan... or Spanish, in the late 1800s, the US Gov't imprisoned many Apache Peoples, be they Jicarilla, White Mountain... and Chiracahua, et al, with the Mescalero Peoples on the Mescalero Reservation of New Mexico. (I currently live in Ruidoso, NM, a "stones throw" away from the rez and am presently researching the Mescalero's Story. I'm a writer, btw.) --I even had a (Mescalero) friend tell me Geronimo was full-blooded Navajo! (I believe this comes from the translation of the word/s "Apache" and "Navajo" to mean "Enemy"--the same as "Anasazi." --Ah, anthropologists! <sigh>)
If you will GOOGLE "Native American Healing" (her book), you can find her full bio (which is a "mile long"). Briefly: White educated, she became a Registered Nurse, married, had children and, after a "health crisis" and suffering serious side-effects from the "White Coats 'medicine'," abandoned Western Medicine for good.
Returning to the "Old Ways" as taught by her (blind) Grand Mother (walking in Balance, diet, herbs <"Plant Medicine">, etc.) --she set about to heal herself... and the Planet, as well.
Active in the (VietNam) anti-war movement, drug and alcohol abuse, "troubled" Native American youth, et al, she was credited with (the only case of) turning an HIV+ person to one virus-free. (Altho' she would be the *first* to say *all* Healing comes from the Great Spirit and "Healers" are but the "agents.")
At some point, she recognized the "troubles" of the Peoples and Planet to be *so* great, a more *radical* approach was needed and decided to go back to the "core"--the educational system/s. This is (I believe) the reason for her extensive travels to Europe and Germany, specifically. The proceeds go to the founding of (her) "Sacred Rainbow Circle Center," a learning center for *all* peoples. (Its philosophy may also be found in the book I cited above.)
In writing this post (with an eye on brevity), I have been wracking my brain to come up with some sort of "proof" of her Truth for you and came upon (translated from the German, thanks to GOOGLE's translation engine) a young woman's comment after attending one of her lectures.
"What can I do to help your People?" the woman says she asked and Kachinas Kutenai replied, "Learn about your own People and help *them* first..."
Having had the same said to *me* in the 70s by an A.I.M. representative (except *he*added, "...and leave my People ALONE!" I took his words to heart and left college 2 months later), I hope this resonates with *you* the same way it did me.
I know you do not know me "from Adam." As I stated before, I do not expect you to "take my words for it" -- nevertheless, *my* life, for one, has been *forever* changed by her. Any concern you have that she is not for "Real" is without merit. ANYone in her presence *Feels* her Power (and *I* have Seen it), *Knows* she is Wise-- ALL, upon meeting her, wish to "sit at her feet and learn." For she has MUCH to offer. She IS the "real deal" and has "walked the walk" for YEARS.
Thank you for hearing me out.

That doesn't really explain why an Apache would be born on the Pima rez.

"If you will GOOGLE "Native American Healing" (her book), you can find her full bio (which is a "mile long")."

Google wasn't much help. Amazon doesn't have her bio with her books.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/104-6106571-8743128?%5Fencoding=UTF8&search-type=ss&index=books&field-author=Kachinas%20Kutenai

Do you have a link to that bio, Silverbonn?

"she was credited with (the only case of) turning an HIV+ person to one virus-free."

Do you have a source you could show us about that?

" At some point, she recognized the "troubles" of the Peoples and Planet to be *so* great, a more *radical* approach was needed and decided to go back to the "core"--the educational system/s. This is (I believe) the reason for her extensive travels to Europe and Germany, specifically."

That's strange reasoning. Europeans no longer have any control over Native lands and peoples. If she wanted to help her people, she'd be with them. If she wanted to change the systems that affect her people, she'd be trying to change the systems in the US, Canada, or Latin America.

"The proceeds go to the founding of (her) "Sacred Rainbow Circle Center," a learning center for *all* peoples."

And yet the center is in Europe, correct? Probably in Germany. It doesn't do anything for her people, and I doubt if it has a single Native person learning in it, just white Europeans. How much does the center charge?

"Any concern you have that she is not for "Real" is without merit. ANYone in her presence *Feels* her Power (and *I* have Seen it), *Knows* she is Wise-- ALL, upon meeting her, wish to "sit at her feet and learn."

I've been to Europe. I know from experience that many Europeans take anything an Indian says as great wisdom. There's a guy in Sweden who goes around lecturing that "plants need water". No kidding. And people pay him huge amounts of money for this.

Possibly being a charismatic speaker is not proof of anything, nor is how she makes you feel. I don't doubt her affect on you is genuine, but almost everything else you says just leaves us with more questions.

I have done another search for KK, and there are still some 160 results coming up just in
German language. She seems to have a long record of doing seminars etc in Europe,
as I found entries covering several years, dating back to 1997. KK also makes regular
appearances at esoteric congresses, with a few more quite interesting persons. Not all
of the sites have price tags, but I found some.

"A medicine woman speaks - Kachinas Kutenai in Schwarzenbek
Quiet, full of dignity, and at the same time with an enormous strength and intensitiy,
Kachinas opens the mind and the hearts of those persons who seek to be close to
her during workshops and lectures. The shaman and tribal elder is recognized as
an expert on alternative healing methods in the USA and in Europe. She taught at
universities and did lectures on many congresses. She shows a path to find and
keep inner peace in everyday life and teaches us "native healing", the Indian way
of becoming whole.

Lecture: Nov 21, 2003 8 p.m., Workshop "Native Healing" Nov 22/23, 2003
Indiviual counceling possible, please book in advance."

"For several years now Kachinas Kutenai, medicine woman of the Apache, has
been coming to Hamburg. It is important to her to carry the wisdom to Europe
which since centuries has been reserved to the Indians. This weekend will be
for healing. There will be an open evening and two seminars of one day each.
She teaches us about messages and meanings of power animals, of those
which accompany us for our life and others who suddenly appear in our life
to tell us something. During the second seminar, she will teach us about
healing energies and how we can use them to help us and others.
Indiviual counceling from Oct 3, 2005. Please do book in advance!

This site offers some info about KK's curriculum vitae and 'work':
http://www.redestab.de/kutenai/index.html

"Kachinas Kutenai
Healer and medicine woman of the Apache

Kachinas Kutenai, born Jan 1935 on the Indian reservation at Gila River
in Arizona, is among the recognized persons in alternative healing in USA
and Europe. She has been and still gets invited to numerous congresses
and conferences as a speaker, does lectures at universities, so e.g. at
Stanford, Berkely [sic] and Reno and did courses at a college.
The US Senate invited her as an expert to speak to a comitee on alternative
healing methods. With her own TV series "Medicine Woman Speaks", she
went on air for two years on a local TV station in San Diego. With her initiative,
"Sacred Rainbow Circle" came into being, a charitable organisation against
racism and misogyny.
Her work encompasses healing with the hidden powers of nature, using the
power of colours, healing stones and other power objects, of the harmonizing
effects of sounds, use of herbs and recipes, (healing) ceremonies and rituals,
trainings in visualization and much more.
She has healing successes which have been proven clinically with AIDS
patients and treats cancer.
She has written two books, "Medicine woman speaks", and "American Indian
healing" and contributed to many more.
In more than 35 years of work in healing, also as an examinated nurse for
many years, and due to the strong connection to her Indian ancestors, she
does not only have her shamanic healing abilities, but also a vast knowledge
on healing methods with roots dating back millenia which she combines with
Western medicine.
Kachinas will be in Cologne between June 6-12, 2004, indiviual counceling
with her can be booked, she will have her own booth at the fair on June 10,
2004, and on June 12/13, she will be leading a weekend workshop during
which she will do a medicine wheel with participants and take them into a
sweatlodge."

This entry is quite interesting, as KK apparently does not mind causing the
impression that she has successfully healed AIDS and cancer patients - in
fact, DAs in Germany will mind, as this happens to be regarded illegal in Germany.

Apparently, KK has done more lectures on reincarnation on congresses, as this
one already took place in 1997. The ad says:

"Reincarnation in the view of an Indian medicine woman

The belief in reincarnation is also widespread among the Indians of North
America. One of their most recognized persons, medicine woman Kachinas
Kutenai of the Apache tribe, explains within the framwork of her tradition,
"how to recognize genuine reincarnation experience and how to use it for
one's present life". She also means to give advice regarding "how to heal a
negative past and how to prepare oneself for a positive reincarnation"."

Two seminars with KK are to be found in the programme:

"Saturday Nov 25 - 16:45-18:15 [Seminar) The Value of knowing about previous
Lives
Monday Nov 27, 9.30-18.00 (Intensive Seminar) Love and Forgiving - the key
terms to understand reincarnation"

At this site, KK is mentioned as seminar leader (scroll down for photo and
intro):
http://www.earthoasistravelportal.de/pages_inhalt/others/reiseleiter.html
"Kachinas Kutenai was born at Gila River Reservation/Arizona in 1935. A heart
attack in the middle of her life made her change to a spiritual path. She
studied Indian healing arts and became medicine woman of the Apache. Today,
she is a relationship councellour, healer, tribal elder, and in the USA
belongs to the most recognize personalities in the field of healing methods."

Other seminar leaders mentioned are Hunbatz Man and Augustino Rivas.

This site is maintained by a woman claiming to have been taught be KK and
Geronimo:
http://www.syntropia.de/geronimos-geschenke-p-14332.html
The site also sells this persons book, "Geronimo's gifts" at the price of EURO
21.70.

A caption in the text reads "Na Hai Te He and soul partner Gije".
Sauer claims "NA HAI TE HE, as almost all spiritual teachings, techniques or
rituals or channeled energies, has been given in full trust by the master to
the pupil.... NA HAI TE HE is the light living in your soul.... a powerful,
harmonizing Indian teaching full of warmth, goodness, mercy, and healing
effects which will inspire you and balance your energies."
Sauer claims to be the only non Apache woman authorized to teach this by
Kachinas Kutenai and Geronimo.

http://209.85.135.104/search?q=cache:u3YZMet1PBUJ:psi-tage.ch/rueckblicke/2000/highlights.doc+%22Kachinas+Kutenai%22&hl=de&ct=clnk&cd=40&gl=de&lr=lang_de

Apparently, KK has done more lectures on reincarnation on congresses, as
this one already took place in 1997. The ad says:

"Reincarnation in the view of an Indian medicine woman

The belief in reincarnation is also widespread among the Indians of North
America. One of their most recognized persons, medicine woman Kachinas
Kutenai of the Apache tribe, explains within the framwork of her tradition, "how
to recognize genuine reincarnation experience and how to use it for one's
present life". She also means to give advice regarding "how to heal a negative
past and how to prepare oneself for a positive reincarnation"."

Two seminars with KK are to be found in the programme:

"Saturday Nov 25 - 16:45-18:15 [Seminar) The Value of knowing about previous Lives
Monday Nov 27, 9.30-18.00 (Intensive Seminar) Love and Forgiving - the key terms
to understand reincarnation"

At this site, KK is mentioned as seminar leader (scroll down for photo and intro):
http://www.earthoasistravelportal.de/pages_inhalt/others/reiseleiter.html

"Kachinas Kutenai was born at Gila River Reservation/Arizona in 1935. A heart
attack in the middle of her life made her change to a spiritual path. She studied
Indian healing arts and became medicine woman of the Apache. Today, she is
a relationship councellour, healer, tribal elder, and in the USA belongs to the
most recognize personalities in the field of healing methods."

Other seminar leaders mentioned are Hunbatz Man and Augustino Rivas.

This site is maintained by a woman claiming to have been taught be KK and
Geronimo:
http://www.syntropia.de/geronimos-geschenke-p-14332.html
The site also sells this persons book, "Geronimo's gifts" at the price of EURO 21.70.

A caption in the text reads "Na Hai Te He and soul partner Gije".
Sauer claims "NA HAI TE HE, as almost all spiritual teachings, techniques or
rituals or channeled energies, has been given in full trust by the master to the
pupil.... NA HAI TE HE is the light living in your soul.... a powerful, harmonizing
Indian teaching full of warmth, goodness, mercy, and healing effects which will
inspire you and balance your energies."
Sauer claims to be the only non Apache woman authorized to teach this by
Kachinas Kutenai and Geronimo.

One of her followers claiming to be taught by Geronimo? Claiming most Indians believe in reincarnation? UFOlogy? Power animals?

That, plus the association with many dubious people, Lightning Bear, Reuben Silverbird, Hunbatz Men, Augustin Rivas, and other exploiters, leads me to doubt her claims even more.

The claim that she testified as an expert witness before the US Senate was a lie. The Congressional Records can be searched online, and they show no record of her.

That TV show in San Diego probably was public access.

Not going to get into a "peeing" match about KK. If you wish to doubt her authenticity OR her Power/s, so be it. It is your loss. Just keep in mind *I* have seen her in action. What *I* personally, have seen her do, that which there is NO scientific explanation for, is enough "proof" for me. (But I know YOU, I am asking to take on "Faith" and, considering all the other "take my word for it/s" you've gotten, your doubt is understandable.)
I cannot speak to "why someone born on the Pima Rez would be a Chiracahua..." (She was born on the GILA Rez--how'd PIMA come into it?)
The only reason I mentioned the Mescalero Rez (etc.) was by way of saying the HERITAGE of the Apache (for one, they were a NOMADIC Peoples) can be very confusing. (Remember, it was a FULL-BLOODED Mescalero who claimed Geronimo was "full-blooded" Navajo.) I REALLY don't understand WHY it's even an ISSUE. (By a person's "fruits ye shall know them," if y'don't mind an <applicable> Bible quote.) All one need do is LOOK at a picture of her to see her Apache blood. (Or am *I* crazy?)
As far as her trips to Germany? Her Sacred...Rainbow foundation *will* be U.S. based. (I connected it to her trips to Germany as her need for donations in order to fund it.) It's still in the planning stages, btw, NOT functioning.
Someone (up above) attacked her saying, "she'd do better by her own people to help them *here*..." (paraphrased--haven't the time for exact quotes), Kachinas, like the "People of Peace," the HOPI PEOPLE, believes (and this will be as far as I feel comfortable "speaking" for her) ALL Whites are not "bad" or "evil." (This is despite *my* personal wish to "rip my skin off" most times, now'days.) She has not and WILL not "give up" on the White Race. (Nor have the Hopi, btw.) YES, she has made frequent trips to Germany. Like many before her, "a prophet is not welcome in her own Land." Her first trips to Germany happened LONG before the 70s (the beginning of AIM) and the resurgence in Na Amer. Pride. Should she be faulted for spreading her message to those who will HEAR?
If that is what you wish--to sequester the wisdom given the Red Peoples until the "End" of this world comes (which, I grant you, from what I understand of the Hopi Prophecies <Banyaca>, seems just around the corner), then you will have to justify your actions to Massau (or whatever term you wish ID the Great Spirit by) when the End DOES, finally arrive.
As I said at that AIM meeting SO many years ago, "are we not ALL Brothers and Sisters?" The Four Races were given charge of different "pieces." To the Red was given the care of the Earth BUT, the other races, too, were given THEIR charges, THEIR guardianships (water, air, fire). It is my understanding, the Kikuyu Tribe are the keepers of the tablets given the Black Races. My research suggests the TIBETANs were given the Yellow. (And as for the Whites, it was either given "Moses" <ie, the 10 Commandments> who dropped them (read the Hopi warnings RE: the ramifications of THAT happening) OR are still being held by the Swiss. (**Have gone pretty far afield here, but one canNOT simply "eliminate" the entire White Race from the Planet. <We're on our way to doing that ourselves, thanks, withOUT anyone else's help...>)
As far as KK's AIDS "claim", there is a difference between AIDS and showing up positive for the virus. What I SAID (as well as her Bio) was she is credited as successfully changing someone's HIV+ status to HIV-. (There's a BIG difference. She does NOT lay ANY claims to having cured someone of "AIDS." <Were THAT the case, the whole WORLD would know of her.>)
Just as KK does not distinguish between the Races, she also does not "toss the baby out with the bathwater." She uses a combo of NATURAL HEALING AND WESTERN MEDS in her healings--what use would there be of herbs if one has internal injuries from a car wreck?
Her Healings she does for free. (Or as free as *any* medicine person does, ie, barter/trade or, for those in extreme need--absolutely free of charge.)
KK has spoken to me thru Visions and dreams and has taught me much. Doubt her if you will... I was just trying to tell you your efforts to discredit this woman are/will be fruitless.
**That woman you spoke of, the one who cited KK and Geronimo as "speaking" to her IS a NuAge "channeller." I'd place NO credence, whatsoever, in ANYthing she says.
As far as WHO has appeared WITH KK, the "speakers" are arranged by those having the conference. She'd have NO say in who ELSE appears with her.
As far as her appearance before the Senate? Senate records only go back so far (on the internet). It is quite possible the record/s of her speaking occured beFORE the INet. I have never known her to tell so much as a WHITE lie, much less a lie as big as *that*.
One last thing before I go... Remember, the sites (above) of her appearances in Germany MAY be poorly translated. I wouldn't take anything *there* as written in stone.
Waste your time if you wish it. Makes no difference to me (OR her). *I* Know her and Who (this Great Woman) is..
When she (and I) walk in the woods, the flowers bow their heads to her. I've seen Coyote come to her, lie down at her feet and allow her to "scratch his belly." Wild horses are tame when she is near, Thunderbirds come to her Call--I have Seen this and she has Taught the same to me..." For Power knows no color, or creed or religion... It only knows one's Heart and I know Kachinas' Heart...
I will speak no more of her.

"What *I* personally, have seen her do, that which there is NO scientific explanation for, is enough "proof" for me."

Oh brother....you might want to look up the Skeptics Society, or things like Yuri Geller being debunked by James Randi. It's fairly easy to con people with fairly simple tricks.

"I cannot speak to "why someone born on the Pima Rez would be a Chiracahua..." (She was born on the GILA Rez--how'd PIMA come into it?)"

You make my points for me. You know very little about Natives.

You don't even know that the Gila Reservation is a Pima reservation. And before you seemed to think Pimas and Apaches were the same, or related.

"All one need do is LOOK at a picture of her to see her Apache blood. (Or am *I* crazy?)"

Well, I'm not a mental health professional.

But you definitely seem to be kidding yourself, and to not know much about Natives. For example, most other Natives can tell I'm Indian by sight, even down to one of the related tribes. Apaches are also related to Athapascans and Hoopa.

I'm always amazed at how easy it is for Europeans like yourself to get it so completely wrong. Barnaby was even mistaken for Native once, and he's a fair skinned red headed Englishman.

" Someone (up above) attacked her saying, "she'd do better by her own people to help them *here*..." (paraphrased--haven't the time for exact quotes)"

That's pretty funny, too spirchul to look for quotes. Or evidence, it seems.

"Kachinas, like the "People of Peace," the HOPI PEOPLE, believes (and this will be as far as I feel comfortable "speaking" for her) ALL Whites are not "bad" or "evil." (This is despite *my* personal wish to "rip my skin off" most times, now'days.)"

Ah yes, that old desire to no longer be white. Obviously she gives you a way to assuage your guilt.

"She has not and WILL not "give up" on the White Race. (Nor have the Hopi, btw.)"

Actually the Hopi are pretty darn sick of whites trying to misuse their prophecies and speak for them, like you do here.

"YES, she has made frequent trips to Germany. Like many before her, "a prophet is not welcome in her own Land."

Prophet is more of a Christian idea, also Muslim. But thanks for admitting she's not welcomed by her (alleged) own people for what she does.

"Her first trips to Germany happened LONG before the 70s (the beginning of AIM) and the resurgence in Na Amer. Pride."

Actually AIM began in the 60s.

"Should she be faulted for spreading her message to those who will HEAR?"

For only speaking to those who are dumb enough or ignorant enough to not know she's a fraud? Yes.

"If that is what you wish--to sequester the wisdom given the Red Peoples"

Red Peoples? I didn't know anyone still used that old racial term since, what, 1930?

"until the "End" of this world comes (which, I grant you, from what I understand of the Hopi Prophecies <Banyaca>, seems just around the corner), then you will have to justify your actions to Massau (or whatever term you wish ID the Great Spirit by) when the End DOES, finally arrive."

You really don't seem to know much about Hopi beliefs.

"As far as KK's AIDS "claim", there is a difference between AIDS and showing up positive for the virus. What I SAID (as well as her Bio) was she is credited as successfully changing someone's HIV+ status to HIV-. (There's a BIG difference. She does NOT lay ANY claims to having cured someone of "AIDS." <Were THAT the case, the whole WORLD would know of her.>)"

Hey, if what you or she claims was true, the whole world would still know about
it.

But they don't, which is why just about everyone doubts both you and her.

"She uses a combo of NATURAL HEALING AND WESTERN MEDS in her healings--what use would there be of herbs if one has internal injuries from a car wreck?"

Obviously you don't know much about actual Native healing. Many tribes had specialists in combat medicine, "binders of wounds."

"KK has spoken to me thru Visions and dreams and has taught me much. Doubt her if you will... I was just trying to tell you your efforts to discredit this woman are/will be fruitless."

To you, certainly. But not to almost anyone else. She discredits herself with each more ridiculous claims.

"That woman you spoke of, the one who cited KK and Geronimo as "speaking" to her IS a NuAge "channeller." I'd place NO credence, whatsoever, in ANYthing she says."

Nice that we finally agree.

"As far as WHO has appeared WITH KK, the "speakers" are arranged by those having the conference. She'd have NO say in who ELSE appears with her."

But knowing that literally almost every speaker there is a fraud, she'd be extremely foolish to agree to be there also. Unless she does not care, since her followers/victims don't know the difference.

"I have never known her to tell so much as a WHITE lie, much less a lie as big as *that*."

It's not so much a matter of you never catching her in a lie, as not wanting to admit you've been lied to repeatedly.

"I've seen Coyote come to her, lie down at her feet and allow her to "scratch his belly."

Once again, you don't know much.

Since Coyote is a trickster, I'd guess you once again don't realize her (alleged )acceptance by him is not a good thing.

"Thunderbirds come to her Call--I have Seen this and she has Taught the same to me..."

What an ego! You claim to control thunderbirds?

Next you'll be telling us the Virgin Mary washes your feet.

"I will speak no more of her."

Except to give us your corny Chief Joseph impression.

"Silverbonn (Blindfolded One)"

I think your name suits you.

I don't think Silberbonn will care much for your putdowns of hippies. Seems she is one, one who at one time claims to have believed in actual activism before she sought out the illusionary quick fix of Nuage. Seems to be a Bonnie Cunningham of New Mexico, with a strange mix of beliefs. For instance, look at her work for a vanity publishing house. I don't know if she shares the beliefs of the book she edited, but it's an interesting choice.

 "666" REVEALED!
A Jewish, Bible scholar, Nativ brings a unique, often startling perspective to the Book of Revelation.  Basing his theories on Hebraic concepts, not doctrine or dogma, Nativ takes the reader on an exciting, step-by-step journey through the Hebrew texts and, through painstaking analysis, breathes new life into the words of the Prophets, the Apostles and Jesus.

Take for example, the word “Armageddon.???  Long interpreted as the ultimate battle between good and evil, Nativ uses his extensive Hebrew knowledge to prove it is a place, not a battle, and introduces the ancient concept of “place of refuge??? as proof.  Should Nativ be correct, not only will he change our theology, but dictionary definitions as well.

Equally startling is his discussion of Revelation, Chapter Nine, regarding the opening of the bottomless pit and the release of the awesome creatures within.  Nativ not only explains what they are, their origins and purpose but, most surprising, their present location, as they await the ending of the Age.

Perhaps most controversial, Nativ solves the "riddle" of the identity of the "Beast" and the meaning of the number “666.???  Supplying definitive proof, Nativ's answer will not only dumbfound you with its simplicity, but horrify you with its proximity as well.

Nativ is not dogmatic.  He does not expect everyone to agree with his study’s conclusions, but challenges the reader to prove him biblically incorrect.  No matter what your beliefs, this book is guaranteed to challenge what you know or think you know about the Book of Revelation!
Are we entering the Last Days?
Is his solution to "666" correct?
                          You decide!

January 14, 1935 - January 1, 2010

Kachinas S. Kutenai passed away peacefully at dawn January 1, 2010 at the age of 74 near her children in Los Angeles, Calif. Most recently a resident of Palm Springs, our cherished mother, sister, teacher and friend leaves behind children Norman and Jennifer Auther. She is also survived by her siblings, Ted White, Jerry Soriano, Sandra Ramirez and Emma Kelley; sister-in-law, Earline Auther; and 15 nieces, nephews and their children. Kutenai attended San Jose High school in California before graduating with an R.N. from Providence nursing school. In 1951, she and her then-fiancé, Norman V. Auther of Berkeley, joined the U.S. Army. Kutenai served as a Lieutenant Nurse during the Korean War. She married Norman Auther in 1959. She worked as a registered nurse for 46 years in the San Francisco Bay area and Reno, Nevada giving in her personal life and helping anyone she could with anything they needed. She worked tirelessly during the 1970s as a drug counselor and wrote numerous grants earmarked to aid primarily Vietnam Vets. Returning to her Apache roots, she studied and mastered Native American history and would grow to become recognized as an expert on alternative healing methods in both the USA and in Europe. She authored several books, including poems in "The Book of Love," and decades later she published "American Indian Healing" and "Medicine Woman Speaks." Kutenai later moved to Palm Springs, where she founded the Sacred Rainbow Circle Foundation and American Indian Healing Temple. Her passing followed a long illness, which she faced without fear and a healthy sense of humor. She now joins her beloved mother, Ruth Mae White, a reunion she always said she looked forward to most. Recently Kutenai wrote: "Throughout all life, choices must be thoughtfully made. To go, to stay, to speak to pray, to step back observe oneself and know that one strong move establishes who we are as human beings, reliably are!" A Private Memorial is pending at Mt. Tamalpais State Park in Marin County, California. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Los Angeles Mission, 303 East 5th Street. Los Angeles, Calif. 90013.

Since people continue to claim that they themselves are special because they studied with Kachinas Kutenai, I'll add in further information on her life.

Excerpts from: Reflections: [San Diego County Edition]
Avent, G Jeanette
 Los Angeles Times  25 Nov 1990: 3.

Quote
Her car is fiery red. Bumper stickers on it read "I am an Apache and proud of it. Indian native from nowhere. Another woman for peace." But Kachinas Kutenai is no suburban armchair Apache. Raised at her grandmother's knee on the Gila River Reservation, she has followed the path of the Apache medicine woman for more than 25 years. Kutenai now teaches American Indian healing through the Phoenix Phyre Bookstore in Encinitas.

Quote
My name, Kachinas, means prayer without ceasing and Kutenai means unity of mind, body and soul. When you have to live up to a name like that you have to walk a certain path. I made some vows to the Creator I would walk the medicine path when I almost died of a heart attack at age 35. I'm now 55, and I look younger than I am. It has its advantages, but sometimes people don't think I know as much as I know or I base my knowledge on books.

I spent my early life at the Gila River Reservation in Gila Bend, Ariz. My blind grandmother was a medicine woman, and I saw people come to her with mental, physical and spiritual complaints. When they were well again, they'd come back, give her gifts and hug her. I learned about herbs from her.

They were stored in bags and I'd go get them for her when she was talking with someone. I learned by taste and smell what the various herbs were for.

Then I moved off the reservation when I was 9. I go back every year, as many Indians do. I became acculturated and became a nurse. I bought into the idea that the native American way was primitive, therefore invalid. But the whole time I was nursing, people, including young doctors, still came to me for herbs.

Dying in that center of Apache culture, Palm Springs...

Middle name of Shabazz? That seems to be a name most commonly one hears among Muslims, or faux Muslims among Black nationalists.

Her real maiden name seems to be Soriano. One obit lists her mother's name as Ruth Mae White. Married name of Auther. My guess would be she might have had or thought she had distant ancestry and that confused mess of Nuage ideas was what she believed, retreating to Europe to make money when no one NDN wanted much to do with her.

Her business outfit Sacred Rainbow Circle Foundation and American Indian Healing Temple Inc (funny how the long spirchul name is followed by Incorporated) is shown by Bizapedia as active as of 2012, two years after her death. But Guidestar shows it as inactive.

Her books are still for sale on Amazon, Alibris, etc, but even 20 years later haven't gotten much notice. One with no reviews, and the other with a single bad review. The reviewer said he met her and didn't trust her since she was fair skinned.

I did see about half a dozen newspaper articles that quote her uncritically. Didn't see any selling ceremony claiming to be taught by her. It might be different in Europe, esp Germany. If Ingeborg's around, could you take a look?

Should we move the thread to Archives?

I think her maiden name is actually White. According to her obit her husband was Norman V. Auther. They married in 1959.

A Norman V Auther married a Barbara L White in 1959, Alameda California.

Kachinas had children Norman and Jennifer Auther. I found birth records for both Norman and Jennifer Auther, their mother's maiden name is White.

Kachinas' mother in obit Ruth Mae White, Barbara L White's parents Ruth Mae Forman and Roosevelt White.  Both Kachina and Barbara White have brother named Ted. Both Kachinas and Barbara born Jan. 14, 1935.

Name:    Barbara Lee White
Birth Date:    14 Jan 1935
Gender:    Female
Mother's Maiden Name:    Forman
Birth County:    Santa Clara

Name:    Kachinas S. Kutenai

Born:    14 Jan 1935
Died:    1 Jan 2010
State (Year) SSN issued:    California (1973)

If Kachinas Shabazz Kutenai was indeed Barbara L White, her and her family were listed as black in the 1940 federal census, San Jose, Santa Clara, CA. Her parents from Louisiana and California.

A student Denzal K Santana says he is a "Board member of the Sacred Rainbow Circle Foundation and American Indian Natural Healing Temple" and that he was "Apprentice to Native American Apache Medicine Woman: Kachinas Kutenai" http://www.denzal.org/index.html (http://www.denzal.org/index.html) But Sacred Rainbow Circle doesn't really exist anymore:

Entity Address:   6500 GREEN VALLEY CIRCLE #317
Entity City, State, Zip:   CULVER CITY CA 90230

I'm fine with this being moved to archives if everyone else is.

I recommend to leave the thread in the active sections for several reasons:

While I found 160 German-language sites a few years back, the number now has increased, albeit slightly, to 193.

The persons I found claiming her as a teacher during my earlier research apparently all continue to mention her as their teacher and use her name for their profit. All of them are sellers of ceremony and/or altmed practicioners. Plus some new names/sites showed up.

Most of the articles on Newage congresses in which KK participated are still online.

So there is quite a number of websites claiming KK was an Apache medicine woman.

There are also new sites mentioning her as a medicine woman:

http://www.bewusst-im-sein.at/uebermich.html

Site maintained by one A eh Yah Aeliah Baumgartner, offering a variety of Newage methods (lightgrids, trance healing, mental healing, medial trainings with Chris Griscom, dimensional consciousness grids, ongoing trainings by her personal helper light beings). She claims to have been taught „shamanic healing methods“ by KK.

http://www.chakraweb.de/wer-wir-sind/j%C3%BCrgen-bongardt/

Site maintained by Jürgen Bongardt, an altmed practitioner offering mental healing/various methods, Chakra diagnosis and harmonising, shamanic work.

Bongardt claims he is a former archaeologist, but started as an altmed practitioner about 1999.

2001-2003 Initiation Reiki I up to Master Grade III in classical Usui Reiki
2003-2005 Various workshops and teachings in shamanism e.g. with Bodo Fischer and Kachinas Kutenai

Since 2000 recognised healer and trainer of DGH [...]

http://www.beatesugg-kastner.de/html/uber_mich.html

Site maintained by Beate Sugg-Kastner. She claims shamanic studies e.g. with Mohan Rai, Indra Doj Gung, and Parvati Rai, all Nepal, and from 2002-2003 with „Kachinas Kutenai (Apache medicine woman), USA“.

Mohan Rai is in the fake Council of World Elders run by Karin Tag (we got a thread on her and the CoWE).

Site maintained by Stefanie Grabolle. She claims to have been taught „ancient Indian traditions“ from „Apache medicine woman Kachinas Kutenai“. Grabolle further works as an animal communicator, does clairvoyant life counselling, is an initiated Reiki master.

However, Grabolle also works for Questico, an online portal offering telephone life counseling:

One of the most important guides on her path was Apache medicine woman Kachinas Kutenai who not only trained her in the ancient Indian tradition but also adopted her according to tribal customs. Under her custody, she [Stefanie] cultivated her clairvoyance and increased her ties to the spiritual world. Today, she is accompanied by Indian spirit beings in their every-day life and her work which she views as a calling.[...]

Stefanie has a working experience of about six years. […]

Her core areas are animal communication (known from the media), clairvoyant life counseling, card reading (Lenormand & Tarot), shamanism, soul partnership, messages from the spirit world, Karma and consciousness coaching.

And here is another one, working for a different portal, fiora33.de:

As this reads pretty much as the one above, I suspect this is Ms Grabolle once again, working for another portal under a different name. Which you may see as cheating the fleecers.

However, these telephone lines charge about € 1.59 (~ $ 2,-) per minute for incoming phonecalls, and their 'counselors' are advised to keep callers in the line as long as possible and make them call again and again. There were reports here of persons having spent tenthousands of Euros on such calls and developing an addiction, finally calling several times a day on utter trivia and not being able to make decisions without having phoned in first.

Although this is quite an old article, the newspaper seems to have added this to their online archives since my last research. The article will also contribute to promote KK, and it will most probably stay online for ages:

Aztec marries woman from Allgäu region
Passers-by were utterly surprised – suddenly, there were Indians here and there. […] Altrnative practician Claudia Herb-Möslang from Weitnau married the Nahuatl-Indian Akatl Ortega of the Aztec tribe. The medicine woman of the Apache, Kachinas Kutenai, also came to the wedding from California. After the civil ceremony, the 67-year-old healer did the Indian marriage ritual.

Kachinas Kutenai, specialist for Indian natural medicine, was born in the Deela River [sic] Reservation in Arizona. There, she learned much about Indian healing arts from her grandmother. The 67-year-old woman has meanwhile written many books on spirituality and does lectures on traditional thinking on congresses worldwide. She also represents the North American Indian tribes at the UN.

In the town of Weitnau, she did a seminar on traditional Indian healing arts recently. Bridegroom Akatl Ortega, born 1958 and having grown up in „Tenoch Titlan“, the Indian name of Mexico-City, had invited the medicine woman to the Indian wedding at Weitnau. He has been living in Germany since 1984 and, as an alternative pracitioner, teaches Indian natural medicine and the Indian version of Yoga. The name „Indian“ slightly raises Akatl Ortega's eyebrows. He prefers to speak of „indogenous [sic] people“ [...]

This is an article on a lady already mentioned above – channeling Geronimo. Her legal name is Margret Sauer, she goes by her „spiritual name“ of Jasantha.
Sauer, too, has taken up working for commercial telephone counseling – the site quotes from the blurb of one her books:

Quote
Margret Sauer, known from the Astro-Lines Vistano and Viversum as a successful counselor under her spiritual name Jasantha, is a medium and, since many incarnations, a seer, receiver, and initiated into Mahatma energy, into Christus consciousness, and into Helaria's Light.

As a channel of the masters, the archangels and her spirit guide, spiritual master and teacher Geronimo who came to her in a vision in 2004 and is with her and supports and guards her, she is his confidante and his messenger, but also a spiritual master, heart teacher and as the only non-Apache woman worldwide, she is authorised to teach Indian „Na Hai Te He“ to all who wish to leaarn it by her intuitions of messages from Kachinas Kutenai, Geronimo and her other helpers from the spirit world.

These so-called "astro-lines" are basically in the same business as the two companies mentioned further above, fiora33 and Questico. From a quick look, Sauer is still active for Viversum, but may not be working with Vistano presently.

This is another person I mentioned in the earlier research:

Brigitte Arupa Uphus-Kaiser

Uphus-Kaiser, however, has worked upon her claims and she meanwhile seems to be a lecturer for a school selling trainings to become an altmed practicitioner:

Quote
Shaman of Indian descent, alternative practician, Ayurveda medical practician, meditation leader, massagist, musicologist, Audio engineer, moderator. Her shamanic path began in 1988, caused by the death of her friend. She learned with Frank Natale of Natale Institute, Amsterdam and worked for 8 years as a translator and assistant for shamans from Asia, North and South America, e.g. Kachinas Kutenai, Hiah Park, and Alba Maria, Brasil. Since 2001, she is the director of a women's music project in Berlin, Cologne, Bremen, Italy, and Brasil. She lives and works in a group practice in the town of Kürten near Cologne.
Emphasis mine

So in fact the number of persons claiming her for their teacher slightly increased, and articles promoting KK were put online meanwhile. At least two of her students works for companies selling expensive phone counseling.

Hello.
In your thread #15 about Kachinas Kutenai it is said, that people feel special when they claim to hve learned from Kachinas Kutenai.

U did mention me, Brigitte Arupa Uphus-Kaiser, in my full name as selling 'native american wisdom' in Germany, that I claim to hve learned from Kachinas Kutenai, giving a link to an institute for an altmed - school from 2007, in the year 2013

No, I donot. I am sorry. Till 2008 I worked for a German Government Radio-Station. Now, after my retirement, I work in a seniors home  as a nurse-assistant and I just got aware that I spent 10 years of my life with a fraud!? No. She was a human being.

Kachinas Kutenai. What did she do wrong? She talked about her life, mostly. About her experiences with alkohol - and drug addicts, coz that is an issue in germany and europe. I did translate her lectures, hosted her, cooked for her, she was my guest and my company. We were exchanging our experiences in nursing and herbal treatments, which is complementary medicine.

I drove her with my car, travelled with her to her german healers and she got ayurveda-treatments from an indian ayurveda-doctor. She was not healthy. I listened and watched her talk and act. She was not after money. More though she needed support and care, like every older being. She was old, poor, brown and sick. That were the facts. We hve thousands of refugees now. The facts are the same. I am grateful for meeting her in my life.

I was simply giving her company in her struggeling 2 years and last days, before she died in that L.A. Hights Home in Los Angeles, I visited her and met her children Jennifer and Arthur, carrying her up the stairs, when she was too weak....

That website lists you as claiming to be a healer trained by her. Your anger should be directed at them.

What she did was clearly fraud. She never was Apache or a medicine woman. She sold gullible Europeans like yourself a racist fantasy of Natives, and for cash.

Finally, she died in a Latino neighborhood. Ancestry.com shows she had a Mexican parent and a Black American one. No Apache. She was so ignorant she chose a name and claimed a reservation that were not Apache.

Thanks for the additional information. It's a shame she harmed you and others by taking advantage of your curiosity, search for meaning, and serious medical and psychological needs with her con games for profit.

Hopefully at the end of her life she made peace with the damage she did and knew she would face her Creator with the consequences of her actions.
