A real lunch-jerker....
« on: June 19, 2005, 04:32:18 pm »
Hooo Boy, have a look here:

http://12tribes1heart.com/

Anyone up for a Shamanic Healing Workshop?

I can imagine the dialogue that would take place if a few of us were to use that Contact Us form for giving "Magdelynda" and "Elijah David Singing Horse" (who claims "Yute" ancestry) an opinion on what their little group is doing.

Note the site design's amazing similarity to you-know-who's shaketheanthill.net....

And he's connected to Roy Steevenz. And he is "YUte and Cherokee" from Colorado?  Cherokee from Colorado?? If he's Ute, why go to a LAkota sundance, use Lakota worfds? The Northern Ute people have TWO sundances. I know because my husband's niece goes to one and her husband, a Uinta, dances.

Exactly. Roy's photo with "Singing Horse" is on the front page. And part of what Lynda claims as her credentials is having helped "create some Hopi medicine wheels and Emissary of light wheels with Sacred Elders". ? I smell an Indo rat! I guess these folks never made it to any of Al's talks. Too bad!

I missed the fish, Barnaby. Which page is it on? And why should a fake ndn spiritual teacher not have one?

I think you probably know I'm talking about the guy's hair: however maybe that style's better know to you by some other name:

ape drape
hockey hair
Camaro cut
Kentucky waterfall
Canadian passport

I noticed he's gone for the full face-fungus rather than the usual trash 'tache favoured by mullet-wearers.

(note to self: must research Brit names and variants of the mullet)

No, I only knew of mullet as a fish. To me it looks like the guy is mostly bald on top. Sure has a lot of hair on the rest of him, though. If his shorts were hanging just a bit lower in that photo on the "About Us" page.... (puking).... who knows what we would see!

Somehow I feel vulnerable asking this question.

but here goes...  ahem..   What is this Mullet?   here in SW. FL a "Mullet" is a vegetarian fish nearly fished to extinction by netters.  They are very good smoked  or deep fried in cornmeal...    I use to go bow fishing for them back when they would make the water churn there were so many.

Linda.

Do you remember Billy Ray Cyrus and his "Achy Breaky Heart"? He wore a mullet. It was a haircut. Short in the front and long in the back.

This is amazing - I'm glad somebody over there knows something about white America's most valuable gift to the world!

Some links - the last one is definitely not safe for work:

(check out 'Birth of a Skullet' on this site for insight into a common mullet-variant worn by balding guys)

This is the motherlode - and it's scary as hell.
