My impression is that anonymous reports are perfectly fine and are taken seriously depending on the info reported.

I chose the report option "I wish to remain Confidential. You may contact me for additional information, but please keep my name confidential".

I'm glad I did so in this case. I was able to answer further questions, provide more leads, and learn some of their process.

The agent was great, dedicated, clear communication working with me.

But if I do another report I'll choose anonymous. Less stressful to know for sure my name won't turn up in public records. Especially in light of our recent presidential election.
