Title: book, "Don't Know Much About Indians (but I wrote a book about us anyways)"
Post by: Pono Aloha on March 20, 2012, 07:25:32 am
This wonderful book is by Gyasi Ross, a member of the Blackfeet Tribe, a journalist and attorney. Here's the link to the book on amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0983811806/ref=cm_cr_mts_prod_img and to his website http://www.dkmai.com/ - I'd put this in non-frauds but understand everything starts here -- and hey, *I* don't know much about Indians  ;D

Someone told me he is in Hawaii? I love this book - just bought a few more copies for some of my favorite Hawaiians. His writing reminds me of something my Hawaiian cousin once said, "The biggest disease of Hawaiians is a sense of entitlement."

I only know that he is Blackfeet and Suquamish. Could also be Hawaiian, I don't know.

I didn't mean to imply he is Hawaiian, just that he might be physically located in Hawaii.

Addition to my previous comment, which was posted too early:

The author's website is for sale (http://www.dkmai.com/), but the book is still on amazon, although "Currently unavailable".
