How to Contact Tribes

Found this pretty useful tool. Figured we could use a thread devoted just to ways to contact tribes if you have questions about possible frauds.

This search engine is supposed to be primarily useful for NAGPRA contacts, so I think in many cases it's cultural preservation offices, which probably are also the best to contact for questions about exploiters's claims.

And also for contacting Native Hawaiian groups. When I get a free moment that needs to be done (though I'd be happy if someone volunteered to help out.)

Right now I'm way behind on lots of things from computer problems and now working with Annika and Folke on the film. I'll get to work on what's piled up as soon as I can.
